Shane Long, the deadliest striker?

I just feel the reason he wasn't doing much is pretty much because he had a lack of help up front, all i've seen us do this season is mainly a long ball over the top and hope shane long could do something with it. If you look at last season when we had Lukaku, the long ball strategy worked at times, because either Long or Lukaku could play target man and head the ball into the path of the other one or hold the ball up and bring other players into the mix, but this season, playing just one up front is a lot harder. Personally since he's one of my favourite players i really hope he does flourish at Hull and i hope we come to regret it, just because i think we were playing him completely wrong. We expected too much from him playing as a lone striker.

Glad you feel the same way i do about Anelka! Biggest waste of wages i have ever seen! Those supposed 50k wages could have been used on tying down our key players on long term deals.

From what i've Read about Mel i do have a really good feeling about his appointment, maybe we'll actually stop this occasional long ball nonsense and get back to the football we were playing under Hodgson.

Can't believe you've just said Brunt is decent xD I can't stand him, not worthy to be our captain, nor has he played to the standard he can play for the past 2 seasons. Okay lately i feel he's been doing well, but he's been one of our weak links for a while now.

I don't think we'd ever accept Fletcher due to the time he spent with Wolves, good striker but i also think he'd be out of our price range. Guidetti i believe has already signed for Stoke earlier this week. We won't sign anyone permanently since our Director of Football Richard Garlick has already announced only loan signings and freebies will be allowed.
They want ?7M for Fletcher?

Do they? Well still, we won't go for him, Wolves relation and the fact we spent 12m on Anichebe and Sessegnon in the summer certainly means we won't spend big again this season.

i like Sessegnon but on ?50k is stupid could of got Tom ince cheaper and on bout ?20k a week! and Anichebe is okay average
