You need to use FM Genie Scout. Using this utility, you can see the regens or players's CA and PA. CA is current ability while PA is potential ability.

I have use this FM Genie Scout to find and scout the regens that will become a star in the future. In this forum, you can download it.

1 more, the star player or regen have PA about 180-200. They are world class player. Download it now and enjoy your game.

but thats basically cheating
is there other ways to find them without downloading programs and just by using whats in the game
 
Ok..so send your scout to region likes Spain, France, Germany, England and Portugal. In my games, the regens are a lot of them coming from Europe country. These are the clubs that have produce the good regens.

Argentina: Velez, Racing, Boca, River and San Lorenzo

Brazil: Santos, Gremio, Sao Paolo, Palmeiras, Cruzeiro

Colombia: Atletico Nacional

Cameroon: Coton Sport

Chile: Colo colo, Universade (spelling maybe wrong)

England: Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Aston Villa, West Ham, Leeds, Tottenham

Germany: Bayern, Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Werder Bremen, Dortmund, Aachen

Portugal: Porto, Sporting, Benfica, Braga

France: Paris, Monaco, Lyon, Marseille, Nice

Spain: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Valencia, Villarreal, Athletic

Mexico: Atlas, Cruz Azul, Pumas

It is more than these about the list of clubs that always produce a good regen. The regen actually presented start in season 2009-2010. You just go to Big Clubs and see their player ages in 1st team squad. If there are player under 20 in 1st team squad, they actually are the good regens.
 
Spain has been pretty good on mine for good regens.
 
thanks fahmi but now all my future stars like camacho,veloso,saivet,wijnaldum,kroos have handed in a transfer request so i think i have to cut down buying potential players

I have a regen...I think. He came from Lillestrom, was free. He isn't great but I am sure I could make a couple of million from him. On the look out for more as well.

praz93, you do not need to buy many of potential player. Just buy them for your backup at all area. Im bought cover for keeper, defender, midfielder, winger and striker. When my 1st team injured, im used them to play. Make sure you play them such as rotation for 10 minutes last to avoid them unhappy. Sorry, my english is not good. :)

These are my 3 best regens. Zabalza was a free, Harris was £12mill & Morgan was £50mill.
 
my ones i have got other good ones may do them another day

that's the good thing of playing a 2025 game, all players are regens so you have a lot to discover. You gotta do it all for yourself instead of asking people on the forum what striker you need ;)
 
This is a regen that I picked up for free on my Eastbourne Boro game. Now, I know he's not as good as a lot of the other ones posted here but bear in mind I'm managing a League 2 team. I've found better regens but I can't afford to bring them to the club because of the huge amounts of compensation:

Man those are some wicked regens there im already in the 2010 season and I still can't find a decent regen I found one though I don't know why but for me I always find the best regens to be defenders in my game the other positions of regens are not that good :S
