So England get some revenge on Brazil on our behlaf, beating them 1-0 with a Danny Welbeck winner. Argentina also continued their good form with a comfortable win over surprise package, Mexico.
It will be an interesting final between the two old enemies but i think Argentina have to be favourties due to the amount of goals they've scored throughout the tournement.

WOW! Did not see that one coming!! ENGLAND ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS!
Didnt think i'd ever see this happen! A great game and performance from them. Daniel Sturridge opened the scoring only for Lionel Messi to equalise. Welbeck then scored his 2nd in 2 games to put them 2-1 up. James Ward-Prowse then capped off the win as England ran out 3-1 winners!

Messi came in 2nd place with 6 goals and 3 assists in 6 games, again increadible stats!
Doumbia then came in 3rd place with 5 goals and 6 assists in just 5 games and an average rating of 8.14.
All 3 players had similar stats throughout the tournament, Redmond probably edged it due winning the final and also set up 2 of the goals in the final.

Finally some news!! The consortium finally complete their take over and lift the transfer embargo! We've already missed out on countless players so this couldnt come quick enough.
Because of this news we can confirm the following signings:
Yann M'Villa:

M'Villa signs Juventus for £4million. M'Villa was a regular for the Italian champions last season, making 27 appearances so it was a surprise they let him go.
Ross Barkley:

Ross Barkley becomes the second new recruit following the transfer ban being lifted. Barkley signs for £3.4million from Tottenham. Tottenham had previously splashed out nearly £15million for Barkley from Everton in 2015. Barkely however failed to live up to his price tag. Despite only being 24, Barkley already has over 100 Premier League appearances and several England caps.
Bruno Martins-Indi

Martins-Indi signs for Blades from Man City for a fee of £7million. Martins-Indi had made 38 appearances for Man City last season at both center half and left back. Although the £7million price tag is heavty, he really should be some quality into the side.
James Milner:

Milner becomes the second recruit from Man City this season after he fell well down the pecking order. Milner signs for a of £750k and will primarily act as back up with his ability to play in several positions becoming vital.
Loic Remy:

This has got the be the best value signing of the season (if not the story). Remy signs from Newcastle for a fee of £4million after bagging 20 goals last season in 34 appearances. Remy was in the last year of the contract which goes someway to explain the low fee.
Angelo Henriquez:

Another striker comes into the club following the arrival of Loic Remy, this time in the shape of Angelo Henriquez. Henriquez signs from Juventus for £4million having only joined the Itallian giants a year before for over £7million. Henriquez never fit in with Juventus, only making 7 appearances and scoring 2 during his spell.
Tomas Kalas:

Tomas Kalas, a player i know very well following my time with the Czech Republic, becomes the latest addition. Kalas signs from Arsenal, again £4million was paid for his services. Kalas was a bit part player for Arsenal, playing in 15 games in each of his 2 seasons there. Kalas was a star performer for the national side which really brought him to our attention.

Omar Deschamps - A quick central midfielder who signed from PSG, 5 star potential but doesnt look ready yet.
Sinan Kurt - A great prospect poached from Bayern Munich. The agreement was made last year but only just joins the club. Left wing is his favoured position but just didnt get enough game time at the German champions.
Srdjan Mijailovic - Bit of an unusual one here, a free transfer from Turkish side Kayserispor. But a player like this really should have found a club by now. But good news for us is he didnt and joined us on a 3 year deal. His prefered position is defensive midfield.
Ibrahima Traore - Last years player of the year finally joins on a permanent deal. Very glad to get this tied up as BMG came in with a late offer which he turned down.
Well, this brings an end to our pre-season transfers coming in, during this time we also said goodbye to Graziano Pelle who joined Newcastle for £3million. Fortunately i dont think the transfer embargo hampered us too much after getting these deals done.
Lets see how the season plays out with the increse in expectation and of course European football for the first time.
