Guys, I see that using Waste Time Tactic is important in FM17 like never before so here's a guide how to get Waste Time Tactic from the main tactic:





1) Change the formation to this:

2) Change the TIs to this:

TEAM MENTALITY – CONTAIN
RETAIN POSSESSION
DRIBBLE LESS
WIDTH : WIDE

3) Change the Roles/Duties/PIs of DL/DR positions to this:

4) Change the PIs of GK to this:

Guys, I see that in FM17 players get a huge amount of yellow cards it's even more than it was in FM16 so be very careful with that because all positions in the tactic have "Tackle Harder" PI and if you see that some of your players is booked during the match then go to his instruction and add "Easy Off Tackles" PI instead of "Tackle Harder" PI otherwise you are at great risk to get a man sent off.​

Is that with all the recent changes TFF has listed? Or are you just using the original that extinction uploaded for us?

I have been trying your tactic for my Galatasaray team, however I'm failing miserably despite doing everything I can:

What am I doing wrong? The only transfer I could do was getting Ronaldinho, but even though I play the players in their right places, I can't seem to score, and I concede a lot. What do?

I follow you for several years because TotalFootballFan9 your tactics are very good in general
I tested this tactic with the download link (v1) and for the moment it is not conclusive (I play in national (france) with a small team "les herbiers")
I have great difficulty translating what you say as instructions (google translate is very bad)
I know your tatic is rather made for the big teams but sometimes it works with small teams but in this case it does not work so I can not wait for you to put the v2 link with all the changes you as described and I can not translate
thank you for your work, and if you could get one day a tactic for players who prefer to play with small teams that would be great

Really not working for me with Leeds, I know the players are poor but the play is beyond poor. Have always used your tactics, but this one is woeful on my save.
 
Curious about the attacking corner set up...

I assume AMR takes right hand corners and AML takes left hand corners?

Also, what are the thoughts behind sending fullbacks forward to attack and leaving AMC and MCR back to defend, for better recycling of possession?

Looks good though, similar to a tactic I was trying to get working last night so will load this in and see how it goes.

To be fair ive only seen success with good teams in the above posts. I am trying it in LLM and its hit and miss, an above poster commented they are struggling with Leeds as well

im doing OK as Pompey but need to find a prolific scorer
 
Yeah i am in a similar position. I find the defence very leaky but i am putting that down to the player skill rather than the tactic, i was just trying to point out the single minded view of the poster. Although i accept the cry for a v2 was also very single minded

trying to decide whether to try and sign a quick striker usually fast strikers do ok in lower league
 
you thread got more attention in 24hours than many in 1 year of fm2016 ^^
 
Ok, 8 games into my Liverpool season I'm struggling to put chances away on my excuse of a tactic I made, so I'm moving over to your's to see how it does. !st game.... City away!
