Season Summary
Our fourth season in the Premier League and we finished 4th. We got to the final of the League cup and to the 3rd round of the FA cup. This season was great for us, finishing 4th, and allowing us to qualify for the Champions League and although we didn’t win the League Cup we managed to reach the final which is great considering some of the teams we had to face. The FA Cup is the only competition which haunts me!

At the end of the season Man Utd won the league. Man City, Chelsea and Brighton make up the remaining Champions League places. Misery for Hull, Wolves and Watford who were all relegated. They have been replaced by Huddersfield, Leeds and Blackburn who have come up from the Championship. Chelsea won the League Cup and Liverpool won the FA Cup. Arsenal (5th), Liverpool (FA cup winners) and Fulham (7th) all will be in the Euro Cup next season.

Round Europe: PSG, FC Bayern, PSV, Cagliari, FCP and Barcelona won their leagues. FCP beat Juventus in the Champions League 1-0. Lyon beat Roma 1-0 in the Euro Cup.

Wasn't originally my first target with Shaw, Clyne and Luiz Henrique my first choice. But with 5 star potential definitely a bargain. Sterling also comes in with Matt Phillips leaving.

Season Objectives:
Play possession football
Give youth player games (Pio, Comyn-Platt, Lawton, Jose Ricardo, Dladla, Robson, Motohashi, Steven Cole and Danilo Theophilo will play 10-15 games each)
Top 6 finish
At least qualify for Euro Cup
Get to the final of a cup

McGregor has been the first choice at the club for the past few seasons. He has been great for us but hopefully my youngsters can push him for a place. Walton is a great young home-grown keeper with potential and will be in the first team next year (on loan at Ipswich). Oliver Wray is the 'Ben Amos' keeper of the team. He is my third choice and will rarely play unless my first two keepers get injured. Finally my biggest prospect Comyn-Platt; signed as a youngster from the famous Crewe academy and already in the England under-21 side at 16. This season I believe it will be his time to shine and has already outshone McGregor in pre-season. Future England number 1, hopefully!
