I actually felt quite emotional after realising he had broken his leg, you can tell it is bad the way Bendnter straight away called the physio's along with the ref. Feel sorry also for Shawcross, he was distraught, wasn't intentional and he isn't that sort of player. Good comeback from Arsenal though.

Get well soon Aaron Ramsey.

it was a late 50-50 challenge, nothing malicious. a shame, because one of my favourite up-and-coming players has probably just destroyed another's career.

I can clearly see that there is zero bias in this reply
Where? I use my eyes, red-tinted glasses or not, all those observations hold true.

Woah, woah.. slow down there. He is young and there has yet to be a full examination of the fracture, if that's what it is.

50/50 challenge, shouldn't have been a booking never mind a red. I think the ref was influenced by the injury.

I hope the lad has a speedy recovery.

it's a bit more than a fracture mate. and players who pick up those kinds of injuries mostly are never quite the same again.

****. YES. Verminatorrrrr! To **** with Stoke, their baseball cap-wearing **** of a manager, Delap and his cheating towel ways and their ghastly fans (did you hear them singing when Ramsey was down on the ground?).

That is all bias from an Arsenal fan. Just because Pulis defended his own player as any manager would do, and you failed to handle a long throw in.

Glad we won but I was pretty ****** off when I was told Ramsey has broke his leg, really hope he gets well soon. The rest of the Arsenal players look understandably shocked and distraught in that video, must have been pretty scary, even if the Eduardo incidence didn't happen. :/

Still, I think this is very different. I think Martin Taylor didn't care at all about what he did, visibly shown when he smirked about it. I think it was just a bad mistake from Shawcross, I really don't think the guy would do anything like that, I like him and hope he doesn't get ridiculed or anything. :o

According to Arsene Wenger (seen on the Arsenal website) it is a very bad fracture.

See Fabregas to that ******* Tony Pulis? XD Legendary

you are joking arent you? did you even see the tackle, he missed the ball.lXD

Arsène's preliminary assessment of the injury is that it was a fracture.

"It is a bad fracture. He will be transferred to London tonight to see if he needs emergency surgery. He will be out for a long time."

I agree, it is a blow to his career, as he was going really well and definitely first-choice if it were me picking the team. However, there's no telling just how bad the injury is other than it is season-ending at this time, so there's really no need to say his career is over with.

Yes, I thought it should have been a foul.

The referee was influenced by the injury and probably rightly so.

Shawcross went over the ball but his studs where NOT showing, so if Ramsey was not injured as bad I highly doubt the ref would have sent him off.

I think everybody can agree their singing was beyond just reprehensible. Pulis really is a ****, and although that may be down to what you call "bias", that's not really anything to do with the team I support rather than my personal feelings towards a man in his fifties sporting a baseball cap.
Delap's throw-ins, I have nothing against, but it just is cheating when he actually draws out a towel to aid him. Ask Liverpool fans how they feel about beach balls. The fact that I support Arsenal has nothing to do with how I view Delap's throw-ins, it's my view as a fan of football than it's an unfair advantage.

Just to add, as his leg sort of flopped after the challenge he is likely to have broken both his fibula and tibia. If he didn't puncture the skin could be back by Christmas.

I don't see how cleaning the ball is cheating mate?

Ive just seen it again on MOTD and it was a deffo red card. I think it was very unfortunate though. Ramsey had his ankle at an angle, and any touch would have injured it in one way or another. I feel sorry for Shawcross, there was nothing in it, and it was a 50/50 ball, and Ramsey just beat him too it. Hopefully fans wont give him ****, because there was clearly no intent there

Yet no mention of the standing ovation, and both sets of fans chanting his name as he left the field.

To be honest it's hardly unfair when other teams can use the towel. Referee's won't let Delap use it unless the opposition can, so it's fair, it's their own fault if they don't have a long throw specialist, it's not cheating. It's like saying you can have a penalty for nothing as long as we can, but if you have a good penalty taker and we don't, then it's cheating okay?

Consider:

1. Surely it's overly time-consuming. He spends 20-30 seconds doing it.
2. If he just cleaned it using his shirt, that would be less of a problem, but he gets an extraneous object (a frickin towel) to clean it.

To be honest it's hardly unfair when other teams can use the towel.
I would take issue as well if Clichy suddenly had the ability as well and spent half a minute cleaning the ball with a towel.

Yet no mention of the standing ovation, and both sets of fans chanting his name as he left the field.
Surely you'll know some Manchester United supporters singing the "pedophile" chant at Arsène Wenger. That doesn't mean I think all United supporters are c***s due to that. They are, but I obviously don't think every single Man U supporter is due to a minority of supporters singing that imbecilic chant. If I made it out to appear that I dislike all Stoke fans, that's obviously an error on my part, and I do apologise. My sentiments naturally go out to the other section of supporters.

1. The referee will add the time on if he has any sense

2. Maybe he doesn't use Daz, so can't get the stains out of his shirt
