United are given EVERYTHING :P
United injury time i think you may be forgetting? Like at Birmingham the other week?
All players dive, from time to time, unfortunately but N'gog was about to be taken down anyway,so it would've then been a penalty.

utd had a player sent off, so how do they get everything given to them, i am pretty sure they earn it.

Either way lets agree to disagree like what Danny said. You have your club and we have ours. End of :)

if it would ahve been a penalty he could ahv taken the impact like a man then.

i havent moaned once when weve had a dodgy result like the birmingham and fulham games recently. whereas every week atm theres some sort of excuse from the liverpool fans.

Well it kind of shows how many people turn on you when you say something like that, hence why Scott probably didn't want to say it tbh.

if he didnt want to say it then he didnt to mention t full stop. and the other guy didnt have to say how right he was despite not saying what they were talking about.

I mentioned it to Anderson, like most people say. we know wot it boils down to.

thts all i sed. then Max asked about it. so i sed i tell him on MSN, he came on, i told him. then you lot started saying " your balls are big enough", " are you man enough" blah blah blah, all tht seems to come out of your mouth. so if anyone built it up, it was you.

I am going to rise above all this and call on all Liverpool fans unite lets show all these other supporters that we are still united and 100% behind our team in these testing times.
Patience with Benitez is wearing thin but he won the CL2005 with Igor Biscan and Djimi Traore so he is certified legend

The other guy was me.

I didn't say it because it wasn't my place to say it, it's up to him.

I said I agreed because it's my opinion which I'm entitled to. End of.

Well let's stop ******* spamming the thread then lads, surely he said it now thats the end of it? (A)

Nope sorry :P I'm down for him to stay until the end of they year, but i think a new manager should come in and spend abit of "promised" money,Benitez has had plenty of money.

ok fair enough but you didnt ahve to keep mentioning it if you werent going to say it

i sed it, once to anderson, then once to max.

not jsut you, they then came back on the forum saying how right you were. i suppose saying **** like lets see your balls etc was a bit much but i was fresh out of the 606 forums trying to put down some scousers who were turning a rafa thread into a discussion about man utds **** finances, so im sorry for my rush of blood tom the head. :(

i dont think people are jealous necessarily, but we are a big club, an easy target, and there are quite a few prominent man utd fans on fm base too.

ok, no point arguing.

one last point from me on this thread.

Well done stoke for keep going.

consider the following events

ngogs dive v birmingham
lucas penalty which im 75% sure should have been given today

and all i can say is what goes around, comes around.

The N'gog foul was exactly the same situation as Lucas' except there was contact in Lucas' case. For both fouls the defender made a mistimed challenge that went right across the path of the attacker which results in the attacked having to change his path. There doesn't need to be contact for it to be a foul.

It does get annoying people thinking all United fans are the same, some of us are not total idiots and are not completely biased.

I have no problems with Man Utd fans and their opinions, of course there's going to be bias from both sides. It's not opposing opinions that bother me, it's the idiocy and the unwillingness too even listen too a different point of view.

PS. I don't think any serious football fan is jealous of any other team.

Lee, you're not saying you think n'gogs dive against birmingham was a penalty are you?oO)

It was a dive, a terribly obvious one too... but it doesn't negate the fact it was a foul according too the laws of the game.

oh cmon it was a pathetic dive and it wasn't a pen.

Yes, the dive was shocking and I don't condone it at all. But that doesn't change the fact it was a foul.

Football is too soft now. Football was at its best when you only got a foul if you got kneecapped. That's how we play football at school and it's great, any tackle that isn't two footed is considered weak and girlish. Nobody has ever been injured with these rules at our school. If you practice this method long enough, you become a good tackler which is why I play keeper, and a back up centre back.

I guess you're referring to it being an offence to trip or attempt to trip lee but come on it's a sad state of affairs if what n'gog did should be rewarded with a penalty.

Football is too soft in certain aspects, such as challenging for balls in the air, but I think the changes in tackling are perfectly fine. Sure I like too see committed tackling and a bit of contact is welcomed but because of the tempo of the sport these days it's incredibly easy to pick up injuries from poor challenges.
