Wow this was a uncomfortable tie. We failed to take our chance in the 1st leg to get a away goal. In the 2nd leg a early Pato penalty leveled it before Joe Allen's second put us in front for the 1st time. Our failure to get a 3rd goal added with a Romuldo red card made the last 15 minutes very uncomfortable but at least we made it to the final!

We lost 2 friendlys but won the match that mattered against Togo to assure top spot. Not official but Togo need a 12 goal swing in goal difference and a win to our loss.

Not the most exciting of footballing events. Happy to be in a position were we only need to win at home to take the title but worried about the away goal.




Between these games the board called a meeting to review our poor performances. Thankfully they gave me another month to turn it around.

This was nuts! We just couldnt stop scoring. I was happy heading to half time with the 2 goal lead before Mineiro's tired legs took hold and Victor got himself sent off making the 2nd half a walkover despite a small scare when Elkeson made it 2-1 right after the break.


we set the record as the dirtiest team in the competitions history with 39 yellows and 3 red cards along the way. Gustavo Zaragoza won Best player & Alex Pato won the golden boot with 18 goals

So thats my 3rd continental tiitle win. Not sure where i'll go from here. Either go onto Europe, Wait for a top job in Mexico/USA or stick around Brazil and try get the Hero achievement by taking a team up from the bottom division. The latter is most likely as i only have the Brazilian Leagues loaded just now since i didnt expect this success so quickly.

There will be no second leg in Africa as my 1st job in Europe comes along with Holland.


With The 1st leg defeat the 2 year wait for the African Nations does not appeal like the 2 year wait for the Euro's with Holland.


The Dutch arent in the greatest shape having no stand out world class players and finishing 3rd in there world cup qualifying group leaving our full focus on the 2024 Euro's

They may be our closest rivals but there still 8 points behind as we waltz towards top spot

Two routine home games go to plan for the Dutch
After winning the Quarter finals Fortaleza go out on Penaltys in the Semi Finals but are still promoted to Div 2
Despite going out in the Semi's we had an unbeaten season!
