"We had a great season and only missed out on winning the league on penaltys. However despite that i still think were by far the best side in the league and are prepared to challenge the Division 2 sides next season"

We won our league comfortably but then struggled in the knockout phase. We still did enough to secure promotion.

Pre Season News
We buy free players in bulk to try and get the side stronger for the challenges that await in Div 2
No play-offs ect this time. Just a simple 4 teams go up and 4 teams go down.
Cesera state tournament will be used to warm up for the league which wont kick off till the end of May

Three draws in a row push me to the max at the end of the month pushing promotion just out of our grasp again!

After doing the hard work against Belgium we needed a 94th minute winner from our center back to secure qualification but miss out on top spot in the group on goal Difference.

The whole season we spent on the edge of the top 4 and thats where we ended up. With a bit more strength up top and in defense and we'll go up next year hopefully.

Long serving Jefferson & Oliveira wanted more action and they left on a free.
Youngster Baggio wanted to move to bigger things and with suitable depth at that position means i could let him fly. Same story with Chen. Lima upset me so much with his poor scoring record that i let him leave after only 1 season.

At 30 he decided to have a breakout season at Arsenal. With De Jong falling to pieces and no other Dutch striker standing out im slightly worried where goals will come from if Jurgens club form doesnt cross over.






Italy are declared Favourites despite only being the 4th highest ranked European team in the World Rankings. Germany, France and England are next up in the favorites with our Holland at 10/1 longish shots.

This was disgusting. We dominated the match but didnt take our chances then on his 2nd cap Nicky Klein scored the deciding OG with 9 minutes to go.

Our poor form goes on in match 2. Again we made more than enough chances then just couldnt take them. The final deciding game shall be very edgy.

So were out! The worst of the 3rd place teams. embarrassing doesnt cover it.




If i can keep my job i'll have to totally rethink how we play as my first 2 years in the job have not been impressive. Against average teams we've been unconvincing and against good teams we've been pants.

Kick off the League season with my 100th game in charge of Fontaleza
We start off winning comfortably over our first 5 games then two games with red cards cost us victorys but we remain unbeatenr
New Striker Luis Plachot is a revelation. Almost scoring a goal a game

Spain regain the European Championship beating Switzerland 3-1 in the Nou Camp
Dutch FA decide to keep me on but expect a big improvement, as do i.
Back in Brazil We sign 3 new players and loan a regular winger from Corinthans and 2 combine on there debut to hit a 94th minute winner then lead us to a 100% record through the month.

Our 9 match winning run ends at home to struggling Aguia de maraba
Form never properly gets back to its best with a close win and a dreadful draw to round out the month.
Still end the month in top spot but only 7 points clear of 5th place

Two more dodgy draw but results end up going our way as we pull 6 points clear at the top and 15 points clear of 5th place.
