The Champions league is quite easy to win, won it on my first try with Jomo Cosmos

November

Big teams suffer from players being away on international duty as ourself and Sundowns fail at the K'O cup Semi Finals during the International window
Results go our way to put us top of the tree while my main rivals Sundowns are only 4 points back

December

We beat close rivals Wits in the 1st game of December
Next time out we beat 2nd place side Martizburg to move clear at the top by 6 points as the year ends and the league at the half way point.
Polokwane City finally win a match. Think they regret turning me down twice?

The Nigerian side have never got past this round in there history

Don't mind me asking but how have you adapted your FM 13 tactic to FM 14? what instructions to you give for players and team?

Here's what i do. Almost identical to FM13. instructions are short passing, hassle opponents, retain possession. Im quite happy with how were playing against similar or worse team but when testing a counter attacking tactic its not been as good as last year, been falling flat on my face with that.

You sound like Arsenal Pre2013. I've never had that much possession. Usually 55%-62%

March

Cup match with Polokwane is my 100th as a Pirate
Gap in the League now up to 14 points. If i had fit back up players then they would be playing!
Win in the 1st round of CL with a 9-0 agg win and make a great start to the 2nd Round

Im not dedicating so much time to it as last year. Been moving house, working lots and in game i've only have to focus on the 1st team and building the strongest team i can rather than pushing youngsters through like i did at Aberdeen. Getting through Africa was alright but not sure how much patients i will have for North America and Asia

you're gonna hate South America if you can't dedicate solid hours into it.. has like 80 games a season (including Copa Libitadores)

April

Comfortably through to the next round in the champions league 5-1 win this time.
Draw the competitions most successful side Al-Ahly in the final round before the group stage.
Back up side finally loose in the cup ending our chances of 3 in a row
5-0 up at half time against Al-Ahly and cruising then we let in 2 to make the tie remotly interesting.
And almost missed out the small fact that we won the leauge.

Comfortably through to the last knockout round.

i'm trying to wrap my head around your tactic... I managed to make a 4-2DM-2-1-1 that works for away games.. and a standard 4-2-4 does the job at home.. this 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-2-1 (your tactic) i just can't adapt to!

Hmm I've no idea what difference would be unless you were in classic mode?

Will post up my tactic next time in online if you want the exact thing? Remember i've only used it in South Africa so its hardly proven as a world beater. Can you chuck your away game tactic up and i'll see how i get on with that? Really need an away day tactic

give me time to figure out how to make it a file that i can share up etc. and i will :)

I'll hang fire and see how you do elsewhere with it (in South America i recommend you use proper wing backs or defensive wingers in a 5-3-2/3-5-2)

Did you hear about clangers is now all time cleen sheet holder in the SPL/SP? not bad for an Aberdeen player!
