Updated my own tactic after running it through the test a few times, the best i got was 201 points, the worst was 169, also had a 195 and a few in the 180s

The best result was:

Havent used it yet on my main game with a few tweaks i made for the test db but about to properly play with it now however in my game most tactics look good with my squad being so string now

i think there is a problem with testing at the moment, can someone please explain to me how a team can have two halves like this. is this just normal?

I am not happy with that testing database mate, also I am starting to think testing tactics in holiday mode is extremely flawed with this match engine.

Something deffo happens depending on where you are in the table i think. Having said that I think this is the best test available. Have you done a testing league where all the teams are exactly the same ? So it doesnt matter about players its just the tactic?

TBH i kind of agree, my tactic which i can get 200+ points out of in the testing db is still very good in the game but not as good as some of my others, i have a tactic which i won every single game in a season with but doesnt test well at all

I've had similar experiences testing tactics manually and holiday as well. Your latest tactic Im testing underlaps instead of over, Liverpool got 105 first season but might be a freak season.

Would you share your tactic which won every game? Im happy to test manually and holiday

will do that in a bit, iv been messing around that much with tactics that im not 100% which one it was since i then tried the one which performed so well in the test db, but iv loaded an older save which was mid way through that season and think i have it. Will run it in my save game again for a couple of months to make sure

Holiday test.

All 6 teams used the same tactic.

All 26 teams have identical squads.

Instructions:


Make sure "26 Equal Teams" is the only editor data file you have enabled

Start a new game

Select Advanced Setup

Select the Nation "Ireland"

Select just the Irish Premier League with a small database. (you will not be using this league it just runs in the background for the game start)

Select the following 6 National Teams to manage, AAA, BBB, CCC, DDD, EEE, FFF,

Save your game and turn off auto save.

Load the tactic you wish to test into all 3 tactic slots on all 6 teams.

Holiday the game until 26.12.22 with all 6 teams making sure you tick the box "use current match tactics".

Post a link to the tactic you tested (only tactics from FM-Base please) on here.

DO NOT USE ANY 3RD PARTY PROGRAMMES (FMRTE etc)

Post the following screenshots Tactic Testing League Stages (the one with total goals scored and conceded) and Best XI's for all 5 teams, Team Detailed (Yellow Cards), Team Detailed (Goals from Corners), Team Detailed (Conceded from Corners) see post 287 below.
