Cheat Tactic
Not really fun is it? I mean my mrs could win the league with this, all 5-2-3 Formations are exploiting the fm18 match engine. Once patched this will be useless!

Not gonna happen! The 3 upfront have been meta for almost 2 years, not changing now!
So have you used this, is it any good? What does meta mean?

Don't get confused with the word 'tactic' through as FM is a football game. META can be for any game. If you play PVP shooters and there is a specific gun that is overpowered/better than others, making the user better than their skill level, then you are using the META setup.
Get what i mean?
I have used the tactic, it's good. Just as good as many others on here.
These two give me the best results though.
Right got ya. Thanks for clearing that up. So which you think of those two would most suit Liverpool? Do they have their own threads?

play with bayern munchen but have been poor.
leaking goals and not creating enough chances.
wbl and wbr like alaba, kimmich are having a subpar performace

The latest one 18.2.2 I think it is. Carrying on an excellent run of form drew 2-2 with Man City in the league then turned them over 5-3 in the FA cup. Just gone on to beat Chelsea 4-2 in the league too. Left it too late this season to win the league but next season I should be bang up there.
First season with Benveneto ( patch 18.2.2 ) with tactic from FM SCOUT , this tactic is good!

that unstoppable tactic posted in recent posts is rather interesting. not at all unstoppable but is very high scoring. if someone could tweak it to concede less goals then im sure it wouldnt be far off. be using it in my 5th season with united. martial scoring for fun. been a but injury plagued but goal to games ratio is astonishing View attachment 66978View attachment 66977

Yeah the unstoppable one a few pages back. Still having a lot of success in the league by far the best tactic I've used so far
