Tactics from differant forums {around the world}

Any decent possession tactic around that dominate the game? All these 3 striker tactics are effective and all but I always end up with less possession and more shots on my goal than I would like even as a top team...
 
Hey guys

Me and my mates started a save where we banned 5-2-3 formations as they cheat the match engine. I'm currently using the Shaolin 4-3-3 V4 Is the the best 4-3-3 out there? Or can anyone recommend another i'm using Man City a Top Team

Mate, playing with 5 at the back is the only way to play atm, because of this catastrophic patch called 18.2.2
Never seen so many bugs in a patch in february, and most of them fatal bugs like : passing back to the keeper going in a corner, 75% of crosses are converted in goals, keeper mistakes like never before, easy pass to the opposition, the fullbacks can`t mark for ****, closing down for the defenders is a joke, one on one with keeper it`s pathetic!

I`m watching all games on 3D, the only way to defend against the cross bug is 5 at the back and you have to compensate with something, that`s why we play with 3 forwards!

This tactics do not cheat, the ME is a CHEAT, COMPLETE CHEAT !

WORST january patch in the history of FM! PERIOD

As they said they had to start again to develop a match engine they could improve over the next couple of versions. Fair enough but it's starting to feel a little bit like we're beta testing fm19 and beyonds match engine. I don't get me wrong I love the game but I can understand the frustration when you see most top tactics are the same 343 tweaked a little.....I'm just gutted 442 is not consistent haha

I don`t buy that... sorrrrryy!
They make tens of millions with the sales of the game & they release a **** version, they can`t ******* fix a few bugs?!?
Since 2013 it`s from bad to worst with this guys!
They lost alot of fans of the game & they`ll lose much more if they keep on like this!

i think it was a new graphics engine rather than the match.

The only tactics that have great consistent results are all 5 at the back 3 AF up top, hence why i thought these formations were breaking the match engine TFF And the Dimitrio tweak are very good for reults 98% win all the time but when u watch the game back its horrendous football long ball, cross, goal. Like u said my full backs cant defend for ***** haha and i have Alaba and Carvajal!!! The reason i thought 5-2-3 was a cheat is because i have seen it advertised as so i just want to be able to win with a normal tactic.

That`s why today i stopped playing FM18.
Went back to FM17, playing a silky smooth 4231 that brings me way way more joy!
18 is the last version of the game i`ll ever play, from now on not gonna buy it anymore!

Yeah I tried them. Good with mid table and above teams but I mainly play LLM and I'd win 7-0 the lose by the same margin in the next game. Thanks anyway tho

This.

It's not just SI though, look at FIFA and what EA have done to that game, especially FIFA 18. Fantastic game at the start and with one patch it ruined it. FIFA 17 it took them 3 patches to fix a kit glitch and when you consider the rake in millions there's really no excuse.
 
Seems like it's too much to ask for a good old 4-3-3 with a DM and IFs these days
