If you see a 1/10 but don't have at least a basic knowledge of the sport or the competitors, ie recent form, playing conditions etc, my advice would be not to place the bet. Handball, volleyball, etc etc look nice when you see that one side is massive favourite to win, but how can a UK based betting site have an intimate knowledge of a largely amateur european sport?

Just to reinforce my point. BBC Sport - Serena Williams loses to Ekaterina Makarova at Australian Open 2012

Serena was 1/10 favourite.

Tried it last night. First bet I made the mistake of going conference north football. Droylsden 3/10 favourites v Eastwood (I think).

2-0 up after about 55 minutes, lost 3-2.

I'm out.

3/10 is much much riskier than 1/10 pal, it may not be possible to find a sensible 1/10 everyday, i'm playing the waiting game to start my betting.
