Villa just lost their best players.... Im thinking maybe 12th for them.

Going to be tight next season at the top, should be a really close one!

If we are supposed to be finishing 5th who will be the top 4 because if Liverpool are in that top 4 its a joke. I don't think Liverpool will make top 5 tbh, IMO Villa will get 5th ahead of Spurs and Liverpool.

they are considering Liverpool top 4 cuz of the transfer window, like buying henderson for 20m (i cant remember the numbers, but lol at the price tag), downing, doni, and their aim of getting 5 new faces in my the end of the window.

utter crap1!!!!!

their predictions might be this.
1. Man U (Young, Jones, De Gea)
2. M.City (Cause of Kun Aguero)
3. Chelsea (Cause AVB won in invincibles fashion with Porto)
4. Liverpool ( ..... i would say cuz of the plays they bought. practically overrated picetag.)
5. Arsenal (.......... They want to make 6 yrs to 7 yrs., and cuz we are not that active in the window (despite rumors) )
6. Spurs (.........)

but they got Charles !!!! :P

Really surprising, and interesting stats posted on twitter just now:

Orbinho Orbinho

Hands up if you thought Arsenal dropped a lot of points from winning positions last season?

The spectacular nature of some of the slip ups tend to skew people's view.

Points dropped from winning positions 2010-11 13 2009-10 15 2008-09 14 2007-08 14 2006-07 6 2005-06 5 2004-05 15 2003-04 10

And Man Utd dropped 14 last season, which is one more than Arsenal did.

Perhaps Arsenal's downfall was more that they struggled to come back from being behind.

Points won from losing positions 2010-11 10 2009-10 13 2008-09 16 2007-08 21 2006-07 22 2005-06 9 2004-05 11 2003-04 21

Who does the Guardian say will finish 4th then?

Harsh. Apart from the usual suspects (last years top 6) and maybe Everton and Newcastle, who else could beat them?

Dont know how reliable is this,

Mourinho on the title race:
"It will be between the red and the blue. I left in 2007 and it was the same old story. Man City have started by winning a cup, which is a step. Spurs have done well and have a great manager, but financially they will miss the last push. Liverpool have a fantastic coach and they will improve.Arsenal will be there - but won't arrive!"

Looks like Jose has Jacko syndrome or other way around..

Er. I saw (some of) his press conference. Don't think he said that - just that Arsenal will be there I think.

Don't no why people aren't considering Villa for top 6, they still have Bent, Albrighton and they now have Given and N'Zogbia. Bent will probably be top 3 scorers in the league.

Every team in the league has good players, it's the others ones I wouldn't be sure of. Dunne, Collins, Young, Delph, Heskey, and their manager aren't them of top 8 team. There's many better teams than them.

Because our squad depth is small, and there's no guarantee our youngsters will be able to shoulder the burden. Furthermore, McLeish has had a team relegated twice, it's hardly the best of track records.
