All but official. Pique confirmed it on his twitter, too. And yes, we all know what he's like, but still...

Pretty much everyone saying he's on a plane to Barcelona now after saying goodbye to his team-mates this morning.

Hope so. Hope Mata comes in too.

Nanuuuuu!!!benvingut a casa!!! Feliç de tenir-te aquí. @cesc4official ooohhhh moc moc

Wenger last month: ''Big clubs don't sell their best players. If Fabregas and Nasri leave Arsenal would no longer be a big club.'' Wenger today: ''Big clubs can sell big players. Manchester United sold Ronaldo and they are still a big club.'' Now you all know I'm Wengers biggest fan but with this and todays developments I can't help but ask... Are you suffering from dementia Arsene?

English : Tw Puyol (to Cesc): "Booooyyyy!!! Welcome home!!! Happy to have you here. Ooohhhh moc moc"

Obviously he was confident that we'd keep at least one of them. He has too much faith in his players (Nasri) and to be fair, a month ago it didn't look like Barca would ever pay the full £40m asking price. (They're still not technically - only £31m up front with add-ons and money from Cesc).

Managers go back on what they say all the time. Woop-de-doo. Wenger made a PR error.

Arsenal are forever making PR errors.

Yeah, I get that fact but normally there is a window of at least a day before he is proven wrong... It was a matter of a couple of hours today. But I'm still confident Nasri will stay despite what 90% of the press think. Either way you look at Wengers comments they are too firm. Normally you would expect a get out phrase like 'at the moment' or 'no exits are imminent'. Can't remember any manager made to look this ridiculous, if Cesc news broke tonight/tomorrow then he would have probably gotten away with it but not a couple of hours later.

No Eboue in the Arsenal shirt numbers, can't look too much into it but I'm happy to give a premature... Hallelujah!

Apparently Eboue wasn't in training today and has agreed personal terms with Galatasaray.

I don't know how everyone else feels, but for me Cesc is a legend. Barcelona and their players on the other hand, are by far the biggest d***s ever.

To be fair, Cesc has been superb for Arsenal, and as a player, there is only so long you can stay at a club that isn't bringing in silverware. You are making a 35/40m profit on him, so it is a win-win, providing Arsene can find a suitable and good enough replacement for him.

So happy when I saw Wilshere was out, and now Cesc and Nasri won't play, I think Newcastle might edge it ;)

win things and not being injured half the time. Not the same as Henry Veria etc

To be fair, Cesc didn't have the same quality of players around him that Henry and Vieira had.

You LIKE Eboue Stu? Christ that's 'extravagant'. Last I saw the fee was €5.7m rising to €7m. At the Emirates vs LFC Eboue showed how poor he was, not been a fan of him... Ever. Terrible player.

Henry and Viera didn't win things single-handedly though. And not much he can do about injuries, a lot of the time he was injured because he was being relied on too much (imo), quite like Torres with Liverpool.

? He can't win things on his own, and a bad injury record (not even that bad compared to others...) is hardly his fault/something preventing him being a legend.
