If we bring in the players we are linked with/should really sign, IE. Jadson, Mata, Jagielka and Cissokho, I could EASILY see Arsenal finishing above Liverpool.

Just have to wait and see.

@Andy: For some reason I don't think I can consider Fabregas an Arsenal legend, he's not up there with Adams, Henry and Bergkamp IMO. Icon would be more accurate for me.

I'm 90% sure we won't bring in all of those players, but I'm equally sure Cesc money will be spent well. Brazilian media apparently saying that Shakhtar are in no rush to sell Jadson and want to keep him. Jagielka and Mata are real possibilities IMO.

Bit of a double-edged sword the Cesc cash, though - teams will now know that we're sitting on a pile of cash and we can spend so prices will go up.

Tough as it may sound for Arsenal now, this is a real opportunity for them to come out stronger here. This for me is what will make or break Wenger's season. He has plenty of extra money to go with his already good funds. Do not miss your targets because of a difference of 2-3 million.
 
With all the speculation it looks like we are poised to sign Jadson, for what I have seen of him he looks a worthy replacemant for Cesc.
 
If we get Jadson, Mata, Jagielka, and a good LB, I'll actually be pretty happy with the transfer business. Only issue is there isn't too much time left.

WOW! there is talks about Tevez being swaped for Nasri and City paying half of Tevez's wages for the 1st season but can't see them being true but if they are that would be an amazing deal. Yes I know we don't need to strengthen the striker role as much as other places but Tevez for Nasri? anyday of the week

Would love for Wenger to make a move for Douglas Costa. Jadson is... Meh. Costa is the real talent, they quoted Roma €19m for him earlier this summer so he is available.

a) Why would City give one of the best strikers in the world to a rival AND pay 100k a week for him as well?
b)Pretty sure he wants to leave england.

Funniest thing I've ever read, they wouldn't even sell us Given last year and now they're willing to send Tevez on his merry little way to the Emirates?
