Manager Arsene Wenger is also still searching for a midfield replacement for Fabregas, having ruled out Valencia's Juan Mata, but is said to be adamant he will not pay over the odds for players even though the £55m raised by the Fabregas and Nasri sales will be put at his disposal. (MailOnline)
Looks like it's gone cold
DON'T DO THIS TO ME!!"!!!ELEBEN
My one hope is that he's doing a SAF and bull-******** the media. He said "I don't have to tell you why" when he said we weren't signing Mata.. I wonder if he was saying "We can't sign him yet because we need cash from big sales" (Oh please God)

Like SAF, Wenger plays close to his chest. But if this is true, then its a big error.
TBF - even if it is true, we don't know the circumstances of the deal. These clauses are so ridiculous and misreported that I've lost all sense of truth/reliability. For all I know, Valencia could have told Arsenal they wouldn't sell for a penny less than £3 gazillion
Arsenal and Newcastle United to be charged for failing to control their players. Just broke
This.Barton gets away with it because the ref pretended to see what happened. ******.

Not sure why the clubs are charged. Wtf has it got to do with us if Barton and Gervinho wind each other up? Not like Wenger and the club have told Gervinho to slap him nor that they can do anything about it when it happens. The other players (er, bar Steven Taylor) tried to break it up.
We all know the FA is consistently inconsistent. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about it. :S
Until the changes come in as "encouraged" by the government
Lille striker Moussa Sow has declared that he wants to leave the Ligue 1 champions for Arsene Wenger's Arsenal
The 25-year-old finished last season as the Ligue 1 top scorer with 25 goals and it is believed he wants to leave Lille after they refused to increase his wages.
After a fairly slow start to his career, the Senegal international burst into life when he joined Lille at the start of last season and now sees the Premier League as his ideal destination.
Sow told Canal Football Club radio: "I want to play at Arsenal, I think my game is best-suited to the Premier League.
"It is my dream and I want to be playing Champions League football."
