Well, in that case, they need to pay up or shut up.

Doens't the scout say he is a fast version of Kuyt. Not the new Pires?

No... The scout said that like Kuyt, you can see why the manager picks up - he works hard, and is always looking to create something.

So, he is a fast version of Kuyt. Even you just said.

The only connection he makes to Pires is the age he was when he joined Arsenal...

He's not said he's a fast version of Kuyt. He said he works hard in the same way that Kuyt does. Doesn't mean they're similar players, just that both work hard. Tevez works hard, but you wouldn't say he's an Argentinian Kuyt would you?

What the ****? Just because someone works hard doesn't make them the new Dirk Kuyt you know.

Gervinho's a different player: he utilises his pace to offer a direct goal threat and create from high up the field. Kuyt works ridiculously hard and offers balance to a side, he's almost the polar opposite to Gervinho apart from their work rate.

Nor would you say Park is a South Korean Kuyt.

To be fair - if Gervinho works as hard as Kuyt does, I will be ecstatic.

Having a good old laugh at Sandro Rossell's comments about Cesc.

He says: "If I was president of another team, I wouldn't try to sign him because he is trying [to sign] a player that has publicly said where he wants to play - which is the club of his life/dreams".

He added that Cesc isn't worth €40M and any offer will be "rational", and says: "No tiraremos la casa por la ventana por nadie". (Roll out the red carpet, push the boat out, etc.) and just to be sure asked: "Who wouldn't want to come to Barca?"

Love this: The Spanish version of the FT calls the Fabregas saga a "culebrón" (from "culebra" - a snake) which means a soap opera. (Goes round + round)

Lol, at least this time they are creative enough to find a way to talk about Fabregas (Saying If I was president of other club and all)..

Rossi agent said Barca have dropped their interest in Agent and are trying to get Sanchez (Which is as good as done :( ) and Fabregas..

There aren't actually any quotes as far as I know, but Rossi's agent seems really keen for it to go through - Barca won't do it unless the agent can act as mediator and knock the price down by €10M + --> Basically; huge financial incentives for the agent if it foes through.

Yes, cheap tactics. But now with Sanchez signing I think they wont sign Rossi..

466 - Over the last five PL seasons Cesc Fabregas has created a total of 466 goalscoring chances, more than any other player. Coveted.

As it stands, the worst case scenario for the Champions League qualifier would be facing one of these teams:
Dynamo Kyiv, Udinese, Panathinaikos, Twente or Standard Liege.

Of course, thats only assuming the seeded teams win through to the final qualifier round.

What about the teams that finished 4th, 3rd, or even 2nd in there league. Lyon?

60 – Cesc Fabregas has more assists in top 5 leagues in last 5 seasons than any other player, ahead of Dani Alves, Messi & Xavi. Happy.
