Rumor that Gordon to Arsenal. He wont join to be a back up as he is very good goal keeper.. Ches will be backup now?

Wouldn't expect so, Wenger rates Scz and doesn't really want to halt his progress. Can't see Gordon coming if if he doesn't want to be second choice.

See a couple of pages back. Don't think it will happen - could be hacks doing agents a favour; touting him out to the big clubs. Wenger rates Szczesny and Fabianski, if not Mannone. They will be 1, 2, 3 next season.

think i may buy the home top now...

with wilshere 19 on back (H)

wonder if the nufc game will be shown on sky after last season's 4-4?

I only saw some of Honda during the World Cup. He impressed me in that short period of time.

Don't remember watching him for Japan in the WC. My memory is woeful. Where does he play? Wiki says he plays Deep-lying Playmaker, Attacking Midefielder. Surely a position we have covered already.

I think he's more of an advanced player than deep, attack midfielder or sometimes even on the right side is the position I feel he performs the best. Well, if we intended on using him on the right then it wouldn't be a bad signing, Walcott goes there when he isn't injured. Rosicky for some creative edge sometimes... Can't think of many players we throw there that are better than Honda but I might be missing out some obvious players.

I would, if the high asking price was met. If not, no.

Simple.

i dont how long has this affair been, but bacra is just wasting time on lingering 30m for the past seasons. Barca. give us 40m-50m or GTFO 2 ****.

if so, lets ****** Javier pastore under the noses off the Blue side of London with that money. ;)

Samir Nasri has urged Arsenal's fans not to believe all the rumours surrounding his future.
The France international has been linked with a summer switch away from Emirates Stadium.
He has yet to put pen-to-paper on a new contract, with his current terms to expire next year.
The likes of Manchester United

have been mentioned as an interested party, but Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has insisted the schemer will not be leaving the club.

said: "There is not much to say apart from don't listen to all the rumours and everything that is written or said.

"Earlier in the season I spoke with the boss and we said we would talk during the summer, which is what we are going to do."
Nasri went on to highlight his aim of becoming more consistent, conceding that his form faded during last season.
Speaking to the July edition of the official Arsenal

, he said: "As a player, it is hard to stay at the top of your game.

"I don't want last season to be just a one-off. I want to continue playing at my best and be consistent at the level I was at the start of last season.
"This is the difference between a good player and a great player - and I know the expectations will be higher on me too."

Been reported in Argentina that Ricky Alvarez will be joining an English club for 12 million.
Arsenal pulled out when the price was 10 million, so it's probably not us.

Plus I'd rather we spent our money on more proven talents.

That much money for Pastore?.... when realistically u can get the likes of Luka Modric for 35m who is a proven player in the PLM, u can ****** him if u like

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger taught me nothing says Lassana Diarra

“I didn’t learn anything from Wenger,” said Diarra. “All he taught me was how to doubt myself, how to doubt everything.

“I played only fifteen games and I did not have a good relationship with him. I respect the way he coaches but I learnt more with Mourinho.

“Mourinho showed me how to fight. He looked me in the eyes when he talked to me. If he had any problem, we discussed it.

"Wenger never said a word to me until the day I left. He spoke to the others but not with me.

“I feel like I never played at Arsenal. If people don’t remind me of that fact, I just forget it. It has been wiped from my mind.”

well Wenger has never been famed for his man-managerment skills, even Tony Adams said that the best compnent of Wenger was his knowledge in the physcological side of things while everyone who has worked under Mourinho such as Frank Lampard, Wes Sneijder have come out to say that Mourinho has been like a father figure to them

Not suprised really but again it may just be sour grapes by Diarra

as if spurs will let him cross the border.

as if spurs will let him cross the border.

Probably will be forced 2... nobody likes to keep an unhappy player and if reliable, Luka Modric has expressed a desire to stay in London which means its between us and Arsenal ;)

Plus nobody from abroad has expressed interest as of yet and i very much doubt Modric will ant to leave the best league in the world
