“I’m very happy, I’m an Arsenal player now, and that’s it. Wenger knows what I want and he’s the boss, he decides.”
“It’s frustrating not to win trophies. Barcelona are a great club, the best in the world, and playing there is a guarantee to win.
“I won’t step forward and say I want to join Barça. After 8 years at Arsenal, I won’t harm the club. That’s not my way of being.”

Joss, here is the all time assists table. The one you posted few weeks back was not..

Surely you mean 1 assist every 2 games?
You mean 1 assist in every 2 games?

Not sure what he meant with this though..
Respect for Fabregas for saying this: I won’t step forward and say I want to join Barça. After 8 years at Arsenal, I won’t harm the club. That’s not my way of being

Last year, he was supposedly "close" to a move to Barca. We rejected both their bids, but after all the speculation, both he and Wenger decided that they had to talk about it... Wenger persuaded him to stay, and Fabregas knows that Wenger won't entertain any bids for him unless they're £45M +. You've posted the second quote as well, and that sums it up really. He's very happy at Arsenal, he is perfectly willing to stay, but he would ONE DAY like to go back to Barca because of blah blah blah. But he won't hand in a transfer request and he won't come out and say publicly he wants to go - he never has, and I hope he never will.
We have to look at loan moves for Myiachi. He can't get a work-permit because whoever it is that give them are being dicks. Same with Wellington (Silva), who they promised they would give a permit to, and then changed their minds.
About time SS got a headline right.. Not just "Nasri yet to sign" or "Nasri refuses to commit"
Yeah, that's a real shame. I was really looking forward to seeing some first team performances from him. Didn't watch him much as dont really watch Feyenord, but from what highlights i saw on youtube he looks very promising.
Best quote is this:
"I owe myself to Arsenal".
You're **** right, you do. And we love you for it.

He might get a chance in pre-season. Not at the Emirates Cup, though (You have to register players for a friendly tournament!!)
Myiachi's a great prospect, though. Really excited.
You really have to register players for a friendly tournament? That's retarded.
How many seasons out on loan has he got until he is granted a work-permit? is it three in totoal?
Not sure. I think we're banking on him getting a few international caps but the ****** Japanese FA ****** about with the Gold Cup (Invited, pulled out, back in, pulled out again), said he isn't ready for Senior level and didn't call him for the U21 or U23s either.
The work permit malarchy is a complete farce. They allow numerous people in the country on a daily basis yet can't allow for Riyu to be granted one? Surely we would be able to show that he is an "outstanding talent" and be granted one, similair to Anderson.
LOL:

Sorry - couldn't resist. Yes, it's pretty stupid - can sort of understand Silva being denied one because he's had some trouble in Brazil but no idea why they won't let Myiachi have one. Perhaps because we can't prove he's an outstanding talent and he's just come from high school in Japan.
