Ah OK. Just that it said "Italian sources suggest" or whatever it was, so I assumed it was English! Do you know how reliable that source is?

No.. Pinch.Salt.All.Media.****.. I wont be taking these seriously as few days back the same source said he is set to sign for Arsenal..

Bit more on that Alvarez story from Italy, being reported that there was some sort of bidding war between 2 clubs on him last night (Doesn't mention the other as Arsenal, Roma and Malaga are mentioned)

Bit of info on the deal, baring in mind this Italian paper is very pro Milan:

Gazzetta Italia- Inter Argentine Revolution

It's reported in all the backpage's across Italy this morning so I would guess there is some truth to the deal

Some interesting opinions from fans on the Mirror's website today: How Arsenal fans would improve the Gunners with transfer targets, tactics and plans for Arsene Wenger, Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, Samir Nasri, Jack Wilshere plus who to sell and sack - Mirror Football Blog - MirrorFootball.co.uk

Although I think Rahul Mudholkar likes the German league a little too much!

Personally, I think Mari Dumett would be the person I most agree with. There are some things from all of them that I'm not sure about - things like wanting to change to 4-4-2 and saying Pat Rice should be removed from his position because he's a "Yes man" (How do you know?!)

They all get a bit repetitive, but that's by in large not their fault - repetitive questions such as "Who to sell/sack" or "Who to buy/hire" and then a specific question on the Coaching staff is rather lazy on the Mirror's behalf.

Rahul Mudholkar was talking out of his **** on some parts... he was suggesting Buffon as a transfer targets lol

That's not so ridiculous. Buffon is only 33! He could potentially have 7 years at the top left.

More bemusing was the constant mention of German players (in particular strikers): Lahm, Kiessling, Klose, Gomez, Huntelaar (plays in German League), Podolski, etc.

Andrew Henson: We need a younger number two, someone who is more familiar with the modern game than Pat Rice. Preferably someone who knows a thing or two about defending - we need Steve Bould.

On the pitch, we need a spine. Gary Cahill or Jan Vertonghen will shore up our back line, along with Leighton Baines if Clichy goes. Scott Parker or Felipe Melo will add steel and experience to the midfield. We need a proper winger. Hazard is a must, along with a proven goal-getter. Hulk or his teammate Falcao get my vote.

This. Would be perfect.

You are not getting Hazard, Lille definitely wont be selling him for a year, already tried that approach.

Cahill, Haangeland, Samba, are the players you should be targeting, at least statistically anyway, their type of play shows they would be perfect partners for Vermaelen

You probably wont get the likes of Hulk and Falcao, if both of them do end up moving to the PLM it will be to Chelsea simply because of AVB

What if Chelsea are not interested and Arsenal are?

So Inter Milan players will be moving only to Madrid because of Jose?

All sources point to the fact that we are interested in Falcao and even he has said that if Chelsea want him, all they have to do is bid

And Arsenal will never be able to afford Hulk neither will we be able to due to his huge release clause and if Porto are willing to negotiate he will choose us over Arsenal

Release clause means nothing. Porto might accept Arsenal's bid and reject yours.. They can do that. And Hulk didn't say anything about leaving Porto or joining AVB. So there isn't any report suggesting he will choose Chelsea over Arsenal.

I bet you think any player in the world will choose Chelsea over any club (Atleast maybe bar 2 Spanish teams.)

not really all I mentioned was those 2 players yet your putting words in my mouth... its cos Falcao and Hulk respect AVB immensely and played their best football under him hence they will most probably choose us over Arsenal if both of us made a bid and release clause means that if we meet it the club is forced to let the player talk to us, they cant reject it

I mean without meeting release clause, Porto can accept Arsenal's offer and reject yours..

they can do that yeah... but I am pretty sure if we did make a bid of some sort, Falcao/Hulk would push for it to be accepted as I am pretty sure they would love to work under AVB in the PLM again

Still dont understand why Porto will reject our bids anyway.. its hardly like we are in direct competition with them and the most likely place we will meet them is the CL and that is based on luck

But all Chelsea would have to do is pay the extra couple million to meet the clause. ¬.¬

Hulk recently said He will stay at Porto and wont move. So I dont know what makes you think He will push for transfer..

You ****** off Porto if reports are to be believed.. They didn't want you to sign any of Porto players hence AVB resigned (Otherwise Roman would have paid release clause for AVB). So they can play hard ball with you..

we can easily meet Falcao's release clause if we wanted too tbh... its only 26.5 million

yeah but we can meet the release clause of most Porto players except Hulk and most of them will arguably want to work under AVB again
