He does spend money, and he certainly trying now, good work there. Saying Arsenal will never win trophy under Arsene isnt fact (since they have done so) its just the ramblings of an idiot.
No im saying i beleive they wont win one again especially with the rising of City, Arsenal were the best club in the country in 2004 and since then they have fallen behind Utd, Chelsea and now City and even Liverpool are now spending money to try and get back into the top 4. Im not the only one who thinks this, only yesterday Arsenal legend Paul Merson said he genuinly thinks this season is the first time Arsenal arnt guarenteed a top 4 spot and im worried for them.

Wenger is looking to address the one real flaw they have at the back, and if they do I'm certainly more worried about them than liverpool or even City. None of the top side are guaranteed a top 4 spot, apart from possibly United, who have never finished outside the top 3 in the prem. Are you worried for them as well?

If Cesc leaves, and we sign Mata to replace him it wont work out. Mata's a left winger, not a central midfielder. To replace Cesc we should buy Hamsik, or maybe even rival Man Utd for Sneijder! I would love to see Sneijder in a Arsenal shirt... but it seems impossible because of his wage demands and the transfer fee itself. I hope we still do sign Mata after Arsenal already messed up signing him for his previous buyout clause of 18mil. Apparantly, everthing was arranged for Mata to join Arsenal but on the last day of his 18mil buyout clause Arsenal didn't organise the money. Eden Hazard would be a good signing for us to replace Nasri, but Lille would want to keep onto their star now that Gervinho and Cabaye has left them.
And obviously theres always one position everyone knows we need a replacement for - centre back. I hope we sign atleast one of Samba, Cahill, Dann, or Mertesacker. Jagielka wont leave Everton, and I would prefer Cahill or Mertesacker out of all of the centre backs Arsenal have been linked with. Mert would be the cheapest option too. Arsenal are apparently in talks to sign Dann though, so it sounds promising. But, the league kicks off again on Saturday and we are still toooo slow in the transfer market!

Decent team. but probably saying the obvious here with that fourth place going to be a struggle. they should do it...I hope. The days of the invincibles are well and truly gone... such a shame. I'm afraid wenger has lost the plot
