Yes i think that this guy would be exempted from military as he is quite a player.

He could avoid it, Park did for United. There was a clause in the Lille deal about missing military service.

I believe Park missed it because he was in the World Cup team in 2002.
Therefore he was made exempt for his achievement.

I may be wrong though.

Yup Park missed it because of the world cup.
But this Park is also a talented player, so i think he would most likely be exempted.

While your reasoning is probably wrong; I agree we won't get Hazard. Not sure we ever were this season...

What about that guy on twitter who yesterday was certain we were buying him? :)

Hazzard, he is still sure we will get him lol

Don´t be a tool, Calum - who said it?

Do you mean Arsenal Report writer, @OneArsenal? Who says he has a contact in Qatar? Twitter = BS. Not doubting Manny, but his ITK contact who apparently has friends in UEFA.

him in bold :)

Work Permit application has been refused to Joel Campbell...

That's a bit of a blow I know alot of Gunner fans thought he could make an impact this season.

Feyenoord? Maybe a French team?

I presume he will be sent to the continent for this season then come back next summer hopefully qualifying via International apps over that period.

Arsenal strikers: Afobe, Park, Chamakh, RVP. (Presuming they ditch Bendtner)

I would say one body short personally but given Arsenal play with one ST if needed I suppose Walcott could fill the void.

Does Arsenal ever get any good news lately?

Arsène Wenger has put a selection of fringe youngsters on stand by ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Manchester United, as the Frenchman’s selection headache continues, Young Guns understands. The Gunners will give fitness tests to Thomas Vermaelen, Johan Djourou and Bacary Sagna this morning, with the latter complaining of illness on Saturday. Ignasi Miquel and the fit again Armand Traoré are both ready to step in if they all fail.Elsewhere, the suspensions to Alexandre Song and Emmanuel Frimpong mean Francis Coquelin is in line to start at Old Trafford. He only returned from international duty with France Under-20′s on Thursday, but trained with the first-team on Friday, and is thought to be preferred to Henri Lansbury.Like Coquelin, fellow countryman Gilles Sunu also returned on Thursday, and should be named on the bench, due to injuries to Ryo Miyaichi and Benik Afobe. Both of whom have been ruled out for around 10 days.Joining Lansbury, Miquel, Traoré, Coquelin and Sunu in travelling to Manchester, is Dutchman Oğuzhan Özyakup, who has been promised further first-team involvement after signing a new contract this summer. You can follow the progress of the youngsters involved on our Twitter feed.

Why are all our players getting injured? Now Ryo and Sagna.

This is getting ridiculous, what the **** is wrong with our medical team?
