Damnit I heard on the radio England were something like 500-1 in the test.

he played a great innings mate truly, batting for a whole day against a Team like Australia is no mean feat, not even sure if Scott can do that :)

I so could. On the xbox

Risk?? Am I being misunderstood or something. 200 runs ahead with 9 wickets in hand?! All I am saying is at no-point to we try get a few extra overs at them by going for it. Even if Trott and Cook got out, Pietersen come in smash a quick 30, and we can have 10 extra overs at them....

I have no idea what your talking about, at no point last night where we EVER going to lose that game.

I think the fact is once we got 200 on runs infront, there was only ever one result, and if we set the aussie around 300 to win, i think they might of just got there or at least fancied them selves with an extra 10 overs, remember the Game was called to a holt 15 overs early as it was heading for a draw, so potentially you are saying give them an extra 25 overs to another 200 runs, that was do able on that track.

I based what i said on what beefy and the like said on TV about Bollinger, nothing else, so if i got it wrong they did... not surprising really <)

i don't understand about the background on your own players remark, considering Im English...

beefys a top men, but has no idea about Aussie stuff.

Sorry thought you where australian, got you confused with someone else/

GodCubed, at the point I made my prediction and going off Englands classic middle order collapse in the first innings, that's what I thought would happen hah. But I'm glad we got the draw :)

I think most people expected it tbh, only a few really expected anything different. And i was one of them. :D

The pitch definitely got flatter after the first two days, who was to know that would happen. That is the only reason we drew this game, if it had deteriorated we would have lost by an innings. Taking nothing away from the batsman of course, but the pitch was a poo test match wicket.

I know it wass, but it always was going to be, you could see when england where bowling the pitch was getting flatter and flatter. Thats how i made my prediction. The Aussie dont have players like Warne or Glen, or use to get them out of trouble on the flat gabba wicket,

Mitchell Johnson has been dropped by Australia.

Toss happening in a couple of minutes, has to be a bat first pitch.

You always, always bat first at Adelaide. Big toss to win.

Aye, me too. Glad to be proved wrong.

Right, so both Hilfenhaus and Johnson have been dropped for Harris and Bollinger, I hear. The former is confirmed, the latter not so.
