Congrats guys. Well deserved victory.

I think i asked in this thread, when was the last time Aussies lost by an innings more than once in a series that too in Australia?

I love the Barmy Army, I think they're great !

I just don't understand why they get so excited about watching cricket, which imo is about as entertaining as having your eyes pulled out. Although I am glad there was some form of sporting success for England this year :)

Not sure about the last time they lost twice by an innings in a home series but before this series they hadn't even lost by an innings once since Ambrose destroyed them back in '93. So I'm guessing before then!

Well done England, well deserved victory over us Aussies. Though you didn't have much to compete with ;) Maybe we can draw the series, that'd be nice. Good luck for Sydney now :)

That is the first EVER time we've beaten the Aussies by an innings, twice, in a series in Oz. Awesome stuff.

Now time to push on and actually win it. Shouldn't have any problems.

What are peoples thoughts for the 5th test. Bresnan, Finn or even go with two spinners.

tell you what though, Australia will pick some youth for Sydney definitely, Ferguson should play along with Khawaja and Beer

Keep the same team imo, don't change a winning formula.

If we need two spinners just use KP to bowl a few overs.

It might be but I don't know where its sourced from mate, was someones facebook picture, not sure whether fb scales it down or not...

Not particularly excited per se, think sub-consciously that it's just more of an excuse to stay up late again! Not that I'd miss it for the word... :)

Get Scott in, he can charge down the track bowling 150km for every ball for 20 overs and then go open the batting afterwards, trouble is I think England will take mercy on the Aussie's and ban Scott from playing the last test 2 :S

Score Update: 151-5

1 wicket falling this morning... Haddin for 6

Hussey still in with Johnson.

EDIT: Smith... :$ Not Johnson

I hope Collingwood gets a king pair so the Mr Flowers doesnt think he was right not to play Morgan

I dont!

Id rather Morgan earns his chance instead of gaining it through Colly's bad form...

also, Morgan is a good fielder but no where at Colly's level,

and who will fill in for his few overs every innings, they may not seem important

but in a 4 man attack they need a breather from time to time

pietersen can bowl and morgan is a great fielder
collingwood has dropped a few in this series
Morgan has scored runs in every match he has played but hasnt got to play many tests cos he isnt getting a chance.
I feel that Morgan should have at least got a chance

ye but a spinner isn't always appropriate as a fill in bowler, Colly usually gets decent economy for his spells.

and ye Morgan is a great fielder, but Colly is world class, and i don't think i remember him "dropping" much, maybe not holding onto a great catch or two, but with the positions he is asked to field means he will end up having a lot of the ball at him.

Morgan has scored runs against teams not of Australia's standing, he's played 6 tests, and got 1 century which is great, no 50's and an average of 32. He will soon take over from Colly with his age thats for sure, but i don't think Colly deserves to go just yet.

against teams like the Aussies Colly has that ability to be effective and significant with his contribution, Morgan no one knows, so at present i see it as a no brainer.

although dont get me wrong Morgan is quality, think he's great, his time will come! probably for the next Ashes.

Morgan will get his chance. Colly is easily the best fielder England have and and can bowl (just like now)

woooooooooooooo

Edit: back to my point

Morgan will get his chance but at the moment Colly offers more to the team. He is easily the best fielder and can fill in with the ball as well. Since we only have the 4 front line bowlers Colly role so important. The 4 of them can't be expected to bowl all day.
At the moment Colly > Morgan
