Morgan will get his chance soon in Test cricket.

He is a good bat so he's unlikely to get overlooked. But while Colly is still kicking, I think his place in the team is pretty much cemented.

The Aussies haven't dropped their best players cos of bad form have they?

Colly is in there purely cos of his all round contribution to the team: great fielder, can bowl a few overs, and can occasionally come in to get a wicket, and the fact hes a solid bat (most of the time).

fluke morgan >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> collingwood
*brian leaves in shame with a bad argument as Collingwood got a wicket*

haha it was a massive fluke mate!

we all love Morgan, i know your bigging him up being irish and all, but we all would love Morgan in the team just at the minute were that strong he is on the fringe, our team is strong in all departments at present there's some real talent not getting in.

We could probably field a second team and be a talented international side

EDIT: on the positive side he is the substitute fielder :P

don't like cricket at all really, but im glad england have finally won something! :D

We haven't won the series yet though, we've retained the Ashes haha.

The real prize is winning the series in Oz land.

Ye i keep saying that to myself...

although i think with the new ball just taken with Johnson & Smith the only real batsman left, Australia won't get to 250 now, if we can keep our heads on a slowing pitch it should be feasible *crosses fingers*

we won the ashes last time out,

and the world Twenty20 last year...

you wouldnt have won the World twenty 20 last year without Morgan
He and the rain were the only reason England got through the group stage against guess who Ireland

Anyway revenge will be gotten next month

Ifs and buts :P

fact is... ;)

But ye, Morgan did great for us, just the sort of player you need in that situation an explosive inventive batsman that is hard to bowl at. This is a totally different game...

Good bye Smithy :)

Jimmy Anderson caught by.... PAUL COLLINGWOOD :P

188-7

189-8, Siddle

Anderson caught by Strauss

EDIT: Hilfenhaus & Beer left...

ill stick my neck out and say they won't break 210, maybe even 200

I said to my mates this morning 220 +/- 10, not looking a bad shout now!

Mitchell Johnson decides to give me more reasons for hating him by piling up some runs and not allowing Hilfenhaus much of the strike

202-8

The Aussie's off their seats at the breaking of the 200 barrier XD

jesus colly that was dire to the max, ugly ugly shot

you have what you want Brian...

Paul Collingwood has announced his retirement from Test Match cricket after the completion of this test match.

despite recent lack of form, what a servant, what a man, what a legend!

Colly has called it a day on his Test Career, Telling the players this morning...

I think we should bring Broad back for Colly, as Him and Bresnan can bat

Maybe have a line up like this.

Strauss
Cook
Trott
KP
Bell
Prior
Broad
Bresnan
Swann
Tremlett/Finn
Anderson.
