To find a loop hole around work permits when I am a BSP squad - I've found 3 ****** awesome african regens that are all out of contract and ARE WILLING TO SIGN FOR ME! but their applications get denied. I was wondering if I could offer them non-contract's and avoid the need for WP's? Are their any other loopholes aside from sending them off to another country to gain citizenship (Not worth my time since by the time they get citizenship I probably won't need them).

Maybe there is some for BSP/Lower league teams, but I am confident to say that, no I don't think so!

hello... i have a question about scouting.. when looking for promising youngest, what should i look for on the plyer attributes? whats is the most importent attributes for youngest? thanks
 
For the 1st time in any FM game I've played England have produced some outstanding young talents... The problem is they play for bigger clubs; Manchester United and Arsenal... I'm playing as Liverpool (for some reason I don't understand) and I'm wondering how to go about luring them to Anfield...

hi raikan- wondered how important you thought having a stopper/cover partnership is in central defence for success.

I've started a save with Manchester United and, looking on the reports I know that Ferdinand and Vidic are the best short-term centre-backs and that Vidic is best as a stopper, and Ferdinand cover. Whilst I know it would be stupid to try to sell Vidic unless a very tempting offer comes in, I think Ferdinand is past his best and would not be a long-term choice.
Phil Jones would be, but he plays best as a stopper in central defence so I would have to convert either him or Vidic, or both, to a regular central defender- defend role.
In short, would you reccommend I drop Ferdinand and find a way of selling him to make way for Phil Jones, or keep him in the team until his contract expires and maybe replace him with another central defender- cover then.

Ferdinand is great for a season or two mate, you can still sell him (well get rid of him and his high wages) West Ham usually take him back..
Vidic I sold in the 3rd season (after a long injury) to Real for £33m at the age of like 31/32 or so..

I would keep them both, Ferdie one season, maybe two, depending if he gets injured a lot, Vidic for at least 3 more, unless a big offer comes in!

Jones rotate with them both, and Smalling should rotate to and be retrained properly to cover RB and increase his crossing/marking stats

Evans can be sold if you like or retrained as Smalling but for LB

I would buy Kurt Zouma for just over £10m in the first few days of the season and you will not need to buy another CB ever, picking up Davide Astori for free in Jan (pre contract) will help a lot as well, especially if trying to get rid of the debt (which I think you are from the PM you sent me earlier today)

I would honestly look for a natural RB - Sebastian Corchia all the way!

Invest in a quality midfielder as well, Romulo - Vasco is a great choice!

if you are playing 442 then I suggest - defend-defend or cover (ferdie) defend (vidic)

otherwise cover/stopper will/should also work, it all depends on your style of play and formation really. I always use defend-defend now
 
thanks man :) will have a look at those players. btw, how did you get £30 mil for Vidic in his 3rd season? i would probably settle for about £25 mil for him now. impressive!

I just do mate :) just remember, the bigger rep your team has the more the players will be valued at.. (current value)

if you have Cavani at Napoli at £20m at a title winning Man City (say 3 EPL's, 3 ECL's) he would be valued at say £35m

It was 1.5 years into the game, not start of 3rd.. (6 months off)

There was a thread comparing players that was closed. Just to say that we can do it in game, as you said, but that's not the end of it. Using the example of the closed thread (comparing Moura/Neymar/Goetze), the CA/PA will get you to pick Neymar, but it depends on the situation, and i think thats why we are in the forum: to discuss.

So, instead starting throwing stones to you (fun sport, btw), is it possible to create a thread where we can compare players, without messing the forum?

PS - I would choose Moura, since Neymar does not work very well as winger and Goezte is a poor finisher. But never played Moura :P

Yeah, it all comes down to La Liga's foreign player restrictions. Currently Oscar, Romulo and Rodriguez fill my three slots. Oscar should receive Spanish citizenship in the summer, but I also have Ganso coming in.
 
I don't know if its been asked; cant be bothered to look through all 122 pages, but out of all your tactics that you have uploaded, which one do you think will have the most success with Arsenal???

No cause its against the rules.. You need to use the actual player specific threads that have been created to ask anything pertaining to the players...

CA and PA should neither be discussed or shown (without spoilers) either, the comparison tool is the most accurate DUE TO THE FACT THAT EACH PLAYER IN PEOPLE'S GAMES WILL DEVELOP DIFFERENTLY DUE TO INJURIES/PLAYING TIME ETC ETC ETC..

so at the time of comparison, that is the most accurate it will be!

I might be able to help with this. I do this all the time when free transfer deadline comes around i snap up all out of countract transfter targets on youth contracts.

I think this has something to do with how many WPs you've been granted per Squad Status - i managed to get such a youngster on a Youngster contract once but that was it - 99& of the time you gotta offer them Hot Prospect at the minimum.

If you're willing to give them games then offer then Backup or better but it all depends on the squad status offered in the contract.
I've lost appeals for 15/16 urs ols who are out of club but i still can't sign them even after a trial because they're uruguayuan and i only wanted to make money selling them on later.

I actually just made an amazing piece of business recently when i managed to steal a £9m striker away from his German First Division side to Liverpool on a Backup contract when he was still technically at his clubs and being offered new contracts by their management - half way through the season he wants to go and i've strucke a deal for £7m - 7m profit is nice! :)
