This is my current team, which I feel is nearly as good as I will get at Napoli but I am yet to win the champions league EVER in football manager and I'm frankly getting rather annoyed haha. I play 4-4-2 and occasionally 4-2-4 if my team are on form. Have you any suggested signings/tactics that will help me towards the champions league?

I ask you as a fellow Tottenham team manager and a wonderfully inspirational tactician:

What is a good combination of roles between Damiao and Benzema?
How should I fit Eden Hazard in my team, considering Modric is in top form as an offensive midfielder?
And lastly, share some tips on defeating Barcelona as I got them in Champions League quater final (rather unlucky).

Now, I play 4-3-1-2, very much inspired by TheBetterHalfs 'italian project', defense works extremely well so far this season, and the only real worry is sorting out midfield so they play well instead of getting around 6.7 scores.
GK: De Gea,
Defence: Bale, Bassong, Papadopoulos, Walker
Mid: Ayew(injured)/Vossen/Hazard (B2B/MC) - Rodwell/Ekdal (Defensive Playmaker) - Vitsel/Sandro (MC/BWM)
Offensive Mid: Modric/Hazard
Strikers: Damiao (Target man) Benzema (Poacher)
I play with Ballanced / Counter approach.

Any tips on positioning to get the most of them, or some tips against Barcelona would be very much appreciated.

Who is a good striker to sign, I have around £40m but don't want to spend more than £15m on a striker tbh, I want to build a new squad and this is really a back-up (unless some amazing offer comes in) for van Persie.

i got one question...i'm with Partizan, Serbian champions, i'm in 2023 and i dominate in the league, won the cl two years ago and have a really nice budget, 6th club in Europe by reputation...it's all good, but i cant create any useful young talents...

youth facilities - 20
youth academy- 19
youth recruitment - 20
training facilities - 15
corporate facilities - 14...

i got really good youth coaches aswell..

it's a quite good youth program here, but i cant get a player over 160 PA...ok, i understand that the serbian players isn't the best, but there got to be at least one or two wonderkids in ten years...is there anything that i can do?

i think you should just wait by the way i got a great regen from serbia in 2015 4 stars PA in my man city save :)

I was wondering what your thought is on using Jordan Henderson as a Striker, would it be a stupid idea or do you think it would work?
'cause I dont know if I should try to have Hamsik as AML | Suarez as STC | Henderson as AMR & make Suarez and Henderson swap positions..
does it sound stupid? D:

I would not mate, he is ****, no offence!

no swapping mate, you get caught out during the match on defence a couple of times.. only use swapping for central mids/amc's/strikers :)
 
hey mate, was wondering why the **** "una" comes up in the "information" column for some players... and what the **** it means :) cheers

now granted this is mostly young players, but I think it's a very good and useful list
