Cheers mate i appriciate the help

Is it only me or is it very difficult to make an effective 3 CB possesion tactic lol ?

hey bud, it is time consuming, not impossible

I have had only a few minutes to check your tactic out, played with it away from home as Southampton and got nailed by Sunderland or Liverpool I think, big time

I made a few changes to it and have not tested them out yet.. I did however push the libero into a CB position as Libero's are a waste of a position in Fm I have found that out ages ago.. I made one for my Tottenham team in a tactic pack (link to tactic pack download here) and it sort of worked.. but not really!

I am still messing around with a possession tactic that scores goals and racks up passes..

Started with Southampton yesterday and have been using this tactic below and had quite a few good results: (oh and decided to join Barca for ***** and giggles a few minutes ago, this was the first game I used it in.. tactic was just under halfway fluid)

just trying to design the actual tactic around a smaller team, which means that with the right manager and a big team, it should work much better....

no not uploaded anywhere.. busy with your tactic now beat Wigan 2:0 at home with 61% possession

haha, getting thumped by Chelsea now though ****!

lol, I had not changed player settings.. had the 2 wider cb's set to run with ball and hug touchline.. leaving only one centre back...

hahahhaa!

reloaded and made the changes.. doing a lot better!

it played nice footie and for one of the first games with it in against Chelsea as Southampton, not too bad!

here it is mate, give it a go and hopefully it will work well for your AC Milan team

Is there anyway you can attach the one you are using as southampton directly to a post instead of having to go onto an actual download site as i really want to try that one out lol

What i did was open my fotball manager tactics file, select the file, copy the file and paste into a folder then open that folder in a football manager post and it attached that way ....... and half way through writing this i realised that you know how to do that as you have attached the Juventus one for me, im such a noob haha

No idea if anyone can help me as wimbledon; and I want to fit in that bracket of the 'lower league manager'.. My two requirements are that are fullbacks play direct; and that I have a target man.. Other than that, I struggle to find a tactic that works. I want to play 4-4-2; as the two wingers when providing crosses will benefit by the use of two strikers however I don't find myself with the ball often; therefore I switched passing to shorter but my crossing instructions specific to my wingers..what player roles would you reccomend for a direct quick 'cross in the box' tactic for league two?

try that and change the fb's settings to play direct passing if they are on short!

Hey mate,

You know your latest possession tactic that has only one central defender, well the striker is set to AF and i have almost signed Neymar with my Barcelona team but i would prefer to play him as Poacher, will changing the AF to Poacher change the balance of the tactic ?

I do it often mate makes no difference hows it going so far? the tactic

So far this tactic is looking very promising have to say, a few players breaking the 100 pass mark in most games the only negative i have found with this tactic is that even though it maintains around 70-80% possesion during the game, against big clubs with quick strikers or wingers they can get behind the defence rather too easy lol

An example was in my save with Barca against Madrid, three occasions the Madrid midfield played a little **** over my defence and Ronaldo scored 2 of them and missed a howler for the third lol, but possesion wise it is working great for me so far having only lost that one game to Madrid

you can try and set the defender to COVER and set his closing down to like 0 to let him sit like an actual sweeper and let the players in front of him close down and he can sweep up anything that does get past .. might be a good little tweak, might try that myself

alright mate, i am the manager of my hometown team wrexham in the blue square premier and need a bit of help.. do you know what the best formation(s) are for this league please? i would prefer a formation with wingers as i have some great wingers for this league..

Hi Raikan007 i am new this site and just been reading through this thread, i have just completed the first season on FM 2013 with Leeds and managed to get them promoted i am tryign to come up with a good possession tactic and was wondering if you woudl be able to send me the one you are working? I have had relatively good success with ones i created ones but they are hit and miss....
