We will now be featuring in next season's League 1 however many players including Gunn and Sutherland won't sign new contracts so a mass upheaveal is required

Beating the team that beat you earlier the season, that's better than a derby win

Elgin 2-1 Montrose - SCOTTISH LEAGUE 2

Winning a match whilst your closest challengers draw to put themselves out of the title race leaving only East Stirlingshire, that's better than a derby win

East Stirlingshire 0-1 Elgin - SCOTTISH LEAGUE 2

This is definitely better than a derby win. Winning the title away from home against your closest challengers with an unsung hero scoring the goal that gives your team their most successful moment ever.

Queen's Park 2-2 Elgin - SCOTTISH LEAGUE 2

Played a few benchwarmers. Macauley played awful. Gunn and Sutherland reviving a point.

REMAINING MATCHES + SEASON REVIEW

I only had 5 matches remaining after March so I've combined it with the season review. Sorry for the lack of a picture. Elgin pictures are surprisingly hard to find.

RESULTS

Elgin 1-1 Stirling - SCOTTISH LEAGUE 2

Elgin 2-0 Berwick - SCOTTISH LEAGUE 2

Annan 2-1 Elgin - SCOTTISH LEAGUE 2

Big loss but we are already champions so it doesn't matter. Duff scoring again!

Clyde 2-3 Elgin - SCOTTISH LEAGUE 2

Good win away from home, next up is the season closer against Peterhead

Said goodbye to League 2 with an 8 goal thriller. Gunn scoring his last goals for the club as he rejects a new contract

Who else could it be? Craig Gunn taking the award for his goals however the official SL2 player of the year went to Brian Cameron. I just felt Gunn needed the award due to the goals.

East Stirlingshire will be joining us in League 1 next season to play the likes of Dunfermline where we have one major score to settle with them.
