No need to call Shay the "C" word. He has a right to speak an opinion wether it's right or wrong. Bit out of order.

what difference does it make what my fm name is its time u took off your green glasses and looked at the bigger picture i am a die hard celtic fan but its ***** like you that gee us a bad name on sites like this moaning 24/7 we won the game and yer still complaining he shouldnt have been playin oh boo hoo big ******* deal as if celtic have never appealed a decision just so the player can play the next game.

and as far as the sfa ar concerned its no just the sfa it happens everywhere liverpool could have appealed so suarez could have played against man city the other night and the game after that but if the lost he would have missed the spurs liverpool game and it wasnt a risk worth taking so he misses wolves n a few other ****** games they should be winning anyway its a loop hole in the system thats there to be used too your favour if you can.

does it matter if mcculloch was playing or if it was anyone else it was a 50/50 tackle n kayal came out worse its 4 weeks off big deal keeps premiership teams away from him untill the summer thats the way a see it

Yes it matter becasue our best player could be out for 4 months.

The SFA took a holiday whilst the season was still in full motion, that is amateur imo. I know and have said that people use loopholes. But imo a professional governing body should not just take a 2week holidays during the busiest part of the season.

4weeks? Die Heart celt for sure.

Manager Neil Lennon described the news as a "huge blow" for the club.
"It's no coincidence that this run has coincided with Beram signing a new contract," he said.
"He is a pivotal player for us. But I will say one area we have real quality strength in depth is midfield. I've got plenty of cover in midfield.
"But no-one likes to lose a player for a concerted period of time. We have been unfortunate with these injuries."
Regarding the tackle between Kayal and McCulloch, Lennon said: "It was a good challenge between two committed players.

enough said

and best player wouldnt go that far he's been injured before and we managed

Putting enough said at the end of your post is the equivalent of putting "FACT" at the end of it. In reality it doesnt make it a fact or make you opinion any more correct.

I am aware and even said above how he feels about it. I dont have to feel exactly like he does about it do I?

Its not going far at all. It is a toss up between him and Izzy, who we have also managed to do okay without when he was injured. Who is our best player in your opinion then? Also when Kayal was out we struggled last season and definatly preformed worse. He missed 3months between the end of September and the end of December. During this time we dropped more points than the rest of the season. We also missed him at the end when we dropped points to Rangers and ICT.

no i'm not saying you've not to have your own opinion im just saying think before you type

1 it was a 50/50 and
2 loop holes r there to be used

But it wasnt a 50-50.
And the loop hole shouldnt have been there if the SFA had not decided to close office for 2 weeks during the busiest part of the season, which is a ridicules thing to do.

no we've got more cm players than anywhere else on the park its a massive loss a wont deny that but best player come on the rangers game is the only one he's turned up for and if samaras had scored the penalty at rangers last season that wouldnt have been in there and it doesnt matter if you had 5 kayals in midfield against ict the defenders were shocking so you cany say he's been the best player maybe last year if you said that i would have agreed

no 50/50 so the manager and the biggest celtic fan ye know (lennon) says different lol
and it doesnt matter if they ****** off for 2 weeks or not they could have been playing any other team in the league and he could have played but that would have been ok but the fact it was against celtic makes it terrible loop holes r the way around the rules and they r there too be used simple as

No way has he only turned up for the Rangers game. He had a poor first 5ish games but after that he has been on the same form as last season an dominates every game. He runs the midfield and is the best midfielder to have played in Scotland since Stan Petrov. If he played in other games then the Sameras peno may have been irrelevant. I havnt got a percentage on hand atm but his win % when in the team would definatly be near the top of our squad. He helps the defense a lot and help the attackers.

Imo Elbows was never getting that ball and he lunged in. I doesnt matter if it was a Celtic game or not. Players will very rarely make up 3 times the amount of ground.

Im not really complaining that they took the loop hole, im complaining about the SFA not doing there job.
If we went in and got the win with no problems I obviously wouldnt bring it up as he is a poor player and it help us with him playing, but it is still a problem that should never have happened.
If they had of played another team and he was one of their main player in earning them a point or three I also would be complaining about the SFA.

yer missing the point hear it maybe wasnt a 50/50 but it wasnt a lunge or malicious tackle it was 2 men commited to the ball and 1 came out worse than the other could have been mcculloch could have been kayal and unfortunatelly for us it was kayal
and how did the sfa not do there job what did they not do?

and bollocks hes been the same as last season not a chance in **** did you see the 0-0 at parkhead with hibs in november he was ******* bollocks hes not a shadow of his self last year last year he was first name on the team sheet now am not to sure

he's played 26 out of 31 competitive games this season and been **** the majority of them

right up untill november the 5 the whole teams been boloocks so thats hardly same form as last year

As highlighted above.

Words as such are highlighted are now earmarked on social networking sites as well as Scottish football forums. Time to stamp it out here as well.

This thread should be focussing on football

'Celtic were good today because...'

'We sucked today after....'

'Did you hear? We are being linked with...'

Anything non football related will be removed.

I thought it was that and while I will obviously go along with the wishes of any of the forums moderators if they do not want that term used, the word "hun" is not a bigoted or sectarian remark. It has nothing to do with any religion or of being Protestant and even Nil By Mouth agreed that it is not a bigoted or sectarian remark. It is purely a term for "hunnish" behaviour and "hun" is basically a term for a Rangers supporter - nothing to do with whatever religion they may be.

The Courier - 'Hun' not a sectarian term, Celtic fans' chief tells committee

Cant beleive I got banned for that, meh.

I agree with you there mate.

Anyway the Docs fear Beram could now be out for 4months minimum. :(

Even if we pretend that it was a 50-50. It stops being a fair challenge when McElbows lifts his foot to knee height with the studs very much on show. No doubt that will get him a new contract.

Bit of a bummer that he could be out for about 4 months as well. BUT the words "could be" mean that he might not be. That could be the worse case scenario that we have been given.

I saw the replay a good few times and I think it's the way that Kayal's foot landed on the ball resulting him to go over on his ankle that caused the injury really because in that middle picture you can see that Kayal's ankle is already over on itself on the ground. I think it was more unfortunate rather than vicious by McElbows.

I'm not defending McElbows though because on another day with his foot being as high as it is, it's a leg breaker of a tackle and was reckless so I think there's a bit of luck involved for Kayal that McElbows foot didn't connect (as intended?) with Kayal's shin/knee.

One good thing is at least we have cover in the midfield now with players that have come back from injury - especially Izzy. He will come back in which means that Ledley will be able to play back in midfield again, so we have Ki, Brown, Ledley and Wanyama available for midfield. If this injury happened two to three months ago it would have been a different story. I'm not saying it's GOOD to have Kayal out of course, but at least we have cover there now.

yes true but they r only supposed to appeal if they think its the wrong decision appealing so they can play in the next match is not what its there for

take suarez they done it the other way they think he is innocent but theyre not appealing because if they do and lose then he misses the tottenham and united games and if they just accept it he will only miss 3 premiership games against weaker teams it works both ways but thats not what its there for

I agree with this. Sally appealed McElbows red card simply so he had McCulloch available for the derby game - not because he thought he was innocent. If he honestly thought the red card that McElbows got for deliberately elbowing Graham Carey in the face was not a red then he's even more deluded than what he was when he argued against the Aluko ban for his very blatant swan dive against Dunfermline.

I think anyone in their shoes (and has a squad as thin as theirs) would have probably done the same thing to be honest. If there's a loop-hole there it will get used no matter what.

Ah but remember, mate, the huge amount of injuries we had round about September and October time would have added to us not playing our best and a hit to our confidence. I'm not saying that injuries were purely down to it BUT when you have over 11 players out (most of them first team regulars) at one time it makes a difference, especially in getting into a rhythm.

A good amount of those injuries seemed to be happening to our defence as well. I mean at one time we had the likes of Ledley, Brown, Loovens, Izaguirre, Kayal, Ki, Hooper, Rogne, Mulgrew, Commons and Cha all out at the same time at one point or another. That's a team in on it's own AND that's not even all the injuries we had at one point either.

These players have started to come back since the beginning of November and we have now found a more steady rhythm and this shows with us having won 10 leagues games in a row now. I'm sure a kick up the **** from Lennon at times has helped along the way also :D

I am more than aware of the meanings of almost all of the bigoted terms and remarks. Although it might not seem bad, some users may find it offensive.

I know that's least likely in this thread but still, I'd rather it was all stamped out.

Looking forward to the treble and some champions league football next season :)

Top of the League and best disciplinary record!!
Nice, play football the right way!

We have just signed former Bolton cb Jaroslaw "the butcher" Fojut. Strange one. Hasnt been capped by Poland although he is still only 24. I trust the scouting team though as they have brought in a lot of unearthed gems lately. No fee and a small wage id imagine so almost risk free for us.

Have signed Rabiu Ibrahim after a trial with us now as well.

Seen a couple of clips of him and seems like a wee tricky player with a good amount of pace.

Good signing bhoys, I really trust the scouting team on these matters.... Meanwhile at Ibrokes, the rankers have bought no players. :)

Oh I'm sure Sally has got a list of players he wants. He's just waiting for Craig "Billionaire" Whyte to find the key to his "warchest" though.
