When has Roman ever had a problem bringing a manager? Two names in my head, Rodgers if Pool get the title, and Simeone. But they are going to get AVB'ed. Roman is clueless, I think we must all know that by now.

Firslty why in the world would Rodgers jump ship if Pool get the title. Secondly as much as Simeone is a good option, I highly doubt he will want to come to Chelsea if we sack Mourinho. Same could be said for just about any manager. And it is an awful stretch to call a man who earned a billion dollar fortune from nothing clueless .... Not to mention someone who essentially laid the blueprint for clubs such as PSG and City and has effectively beat the FFP

Roman appointed RDM/Benitez as managers despite some obviously better options out there because he wanted to ensure that he got the best manager and gave him time

What does this even mean? Roman knew one year in advance that Jose will be booted from Madrid, so he gave the job to RDM and Benitez so he can fire them later and get Mourinho? I dont even.

Oh, wow. You have changed man. You definitely did. You used to think otherwise. Not sure what happened.

Firstly, "I highly doubt he will want to come to Chelsea if we sack Mourinho. Same could be said for just about any manager" -- I thought this was a myth. I guess it's not from your point of view.

Secondly, "why in the world would Rodgers jump ship if Pool get the title'" -- Uhmm, why not?

So, would you classify this as unsuccessful season?

No, an average-okay one (unless we end up winning CL or PL obviously)

WHY RED?! MY EYES.................

Obviously red is in our history (yes because funnily enough we do have it) from the Chelsea Pensioners but all that aside i hate it lol. Away kit is rumoured to be back to yellow and blue so i hope that's true.

Lol your theory about how Roman has learned is completely baseless. Maybe you should sober up and actually think about.

Not at all, this season Jose has had the biggest say in all transfers which never happened to previous managers which says a lot. Managers have been sacked for so much less than some of the results we have got this season. Di Matteo was 2nd in the league just 4 points off City who were top and we had them to play next!

Would you be happy if you achieve same things next season

No, but we won't i am 100% sure of it.

So you would classify that this season was more successful than last one?

Trophy wise no obviously but progression wise yes 100%.

Exactly the point. He wasn't prepared to give the job to just about any manager. He wanted a proper manager in: someone who could build a dynasty and that's why he was willing to wait for Mourinho. Not the clearest example but I am glad to see you accepted the one on AVB :)

It's acceptable in my mind. Definitely not successful though.

Definitely not.

We don't know how it will end but assuming we come 3rd and get knocked out by Psg? I would class that as being about the same as last year; both seasons had positive and negative trends in them.

To answer all your questions, I'm ok to write this season off but things really need to start picking up again next year.

So your best example of Roman's new love for stability, is that he recently went through 4 managers in less then 2 years?

It's easy to look at the numbers and form the easiest conclusion that Roman hates stability .. Dig deeper and you will find a different story

Roman hasnt learned a thing. Despite what Jose says, the board will be disappointed if there is no trophy. But they will get him that striker in the summer. And if there is no trophy again, probably sack him.

So essentially what you're saying is: ignore the facts but believe you, because your judgement is more reliable than the facts?

Whaaat ... No I am saying that you should look beyond numbers and understand the context of the situation before making any false judgement

The context is: Roman LOVES winning, above all else. He would take stablity, if it meant winning all the time, he would never take it over winning. Jose is back because United didnt take him, and Roman realised he was easily his best chance of yet more success and winning. But if Jose doesn't deliver, he'll be out on his ****. He'll get a fair bit more leeway that other managers, but the end would still be same if he doesn't live upto it.

And I totally agree with that stance ... All I am saying is that Roman will give Managers much more leeway as evidenced by AVB but if it comes at the expense of trophies or if there are serious structural problems then the manager will be gone

AVB got basically no leeway. This idea that roman suddenly gives managers a lot more time is false.

He did. He got much more time than previous managers would in his position and he probably would have been given another season if he hadn't managed to **** just about everyone around the club off

He got less than a season. There is no way you can use that to argue that he got loads more time.
