Isn't ter Stegen available in the summer? (Granted Barca lose the appeal against the ban)

No one is quite sure. It's all very messy. either way, he has said he will leave in the summer.

Oh definitely, I was going off on a tangent.

I don't think trophies are the ONLY thing Roman cares about, but they're the biggest to the point where he's willing to sacrifice everything else for them. He'd love to play Barca football, but if that gets in the way of trophies he'd rather drop it and go to hoofball if it gave him a better chance.
Which is why Mourinho is such a great fit for Chelsea. Both he and Roman are obsessed with winning, and will sacrifice everything to achieve success.

You wont sell TC. Lukaku on the hand, doesn't even get spoken to by Chelsea. I doubt he sees his future there. He wants to play as much as possible, which is what he needs right now.

his agent admitted that there's already been talks with Spurs over a move in the summer, but it's by no means certain. Just a shame that we can't afford to bring him to Goodison. I just love watching him play and he would have been a great fit. But if you don't have the cash you can't do anything about it.

Lukaku situation is extremely bizarre even by Chelsea standards. Don Pedro Managero first loans him out, then he whines about lack of strikers entire season. Meanwhile Lukaku scores as much goals as Eto and Torres combined, but he still wont get a chance, instead they plan to spend up to 50mil on new striker.

If this wasn't weird enough, Chelsea competed for Lukaku with Real Madrid, back when its manager was certain Jose Mourinho.

Seriously what the actual ****.

Actually you started by trying to argue that Roman was suddenly about giving managers loads more time, and used AVB as an example. Which is wrong.

Erm isn't that the exact same thing as saying that Roman will not make decisions so rashly anymore? And AVB was a good example because he got more time than most would in his untenable position

He wanted to sign him at RM, because he's a great prospect. There's no way Chelsea board will allow a sale, he just went on loan to develop.

In pre-season, when Jose Mourinho started pursuing Wayne Rooney, he made it clear what kind of striker he wants. It's the Aguero/Suarez/Rooney-esque who can work in tight spaces, link up with AMs and create spaces for other team mates to score with clever movements and of course score himself. Sort of like Deep lying forward if you will (All the ones mentioned above can play second striker). He couldn't get Rooney so he got Eto'o, who also played supporting striker at Inter to Milito.

Lukaku himself, with his own mouth said (after Mourinho openly said he should tell why he left) that he left because he wanted regular first team football and with 4 strikers at Chelsea, he wouldn't have gotten it. Mourinho also ******* cleared that he wanted Lukaku to stay and compete but he himself asked for move.

But yeah, he's a fuckwit for having a tactical view. This is the reason why Torres starts over Ba every ******* week, even though Ba can finish million times better than him.

Also to add, at West Brom, he'd just wait for the ball then dribble and bang it in, sure he racked up numbers in goals but he wouldn't be allowed so much space to dribble when playing at Chelsea. He doesn't have the close control of Hazard either. At Everton and in Martinez's system, he's improved his hold up play and passing a lot. The loan is working, he'll be back and probably be rotation option with incoming striker option. Two strikers for two different tactics. Lukaku can be good 'ol target man with pace, great for counter attacking. The incoming for breaking down parked buses.

Stop providing sensible explanations, you're supposed to say its all about mind games.

Not sure where you get your info from because very recently, Lukaku has said that he wants to play for Chelsea. He has also spoken about how the Chelsea staff talk to him every week telling him which areas he can improve on after watching him play

Lukaku said it himself before christmas.

Didn't his agent come out and say he was looking for a club for Lukaku?

You seem quite happy to believe Lukaku, why not his agent?

Because his agent has every incentive to lie so that he can get a better deal for Lukaku out of Chelsea. Also the agents story makes little sense as it is completely at odds with what both Lukaku and Mourinho have been saying over the course of the season. Even in the outright worst case that both Lukaku and Mourinho have been lying through their teeth (unlikely) ... The Chelsea board will never sanction a sale unless we get big big money

?25 million from Spurs sounds big to me. If he's getting first team football I'd push for a move elsewhere aswell anyway. He's too good to be sitting on the bench.

He isn't ready to lead the line for a team that wants to win it all. He will get enough games next season as it is rotating with Costa (hopefully) and he is playing for his boyhood club. Can't fathom why he would push for a move unless Mourinho has been outright lying and actually doesn't want him

How does that work? If Lukaku wants to stay, his agent gains nothing by telling everyone he wants to leave?

BBC Sport - Romelu Lukaku would consider leaving Chelsea to stay at Everton

He would consider leaving if Everton got CL football. The whole point is thate he doesnt want to rotate, because at his age he needs as much game time as he can get, hence why he left on loan in the first place.

Jose lie? Perish the thought...
