Mmm, I said Torres was effective in Europe, you then spend 2 pages trying to claim he wasn't despite evidence to the contrary.

He has also been more effective than Drogba, but that wasn't the argument I was making.

No you said he scored 'big goals' in Europe ... When I pressed you for examples, the best you came up with were the ones he scored in the Europa League where he had Mata, Oscar and Hazard supplying him. Then you tried to say that Drogba only shows up in cup finals and against Arsenal. I told you that he scored vs Bayern and Barcelona and fired us to the CL which you have happily ignored for 2 pages

If you won nothing with Mourinho you certainly weren't winning anything with an interim manager lol.

Good lord, just face it, you're lucky Moyes isn't your manager as there would be a meltdown of Chelsea fans in a matter of 1 week.

Anyway back to you moaning about Torres or something, or whatever you are trying to prove.

But we won the Europa League with an interim manager!!!! HAHAHAHA

Mickey mouse Europe cup you mean. Still wasn't enough to save Chelsea fans from wanting him gone though was it?

When the choice is between Benitez and Mourinho ... Any fool would know which to pick. If we picked Benitez, it would have been as good as picking Moyes over Mourinho ... Oh wait

Oh and don't be naughty, we won the Mickey Mouse trophy which you lot can't even compete for and finished in the top 3

That's true, you would have to be really **** to not qualify for the that Mickey Mouse cup...

What did you win this season with Mourinho during the season we had with Moyes? Oh wait, exactly, nothing.

Yes, scoring again Barcelona in the CL is a big goal. Firing your team to the EL trophy, are big goals. Scoring goals that help you get through the group stages are big goals. He is effective in europe and has scored big goals. Having players behind him doesnt change the fact he scored big goals. You understand that because he played with hazard in the EL, it doesn't change the fact he scored big goals then and was effective. This is exaclt what I mean by revising history. I didn't say he only turned up for Arsenal cup games, I agreed with Tyton being facetious, because its almost certainly how he will be used this season. I also didnt ignore his goals at any point. Repeating that point doesn't make it true.

Love to see you jumping all over the place when you have nothing to say .. Cute. United won the community shield though don't forget

We still finished in the top 4

Right to be fair to torres last season he got 4 in CL which you could argue where "big goals"

2 vs schalke away put you top of the group after getting beat by basel
1 vs Gala was an away goal changed the complexion of the tie
1 vs atletico was the opener but chelsea couldn't capitalise

So tbf they're not exactly small goals

Jumping all over the place? I'm sitting in my chair actually.

Oh yeh hahahaha, Moyes and United's worst season for 2 decades = more success.

Congratulations on your CL finish, not sure what trophy that earns you, think they call it the Wenger Cup.

I really mean this in the nicest most respectful and sincerest way possibleYou bunch of boring feckers, I'd actually made a post making a case for torres and drogba but after recapping the last few pages it would just be a total waste I'll use it for a blog instead

Send me the blog link.

Did you find those books i recommended useful?

And if you think a non-essential goal against Barcelona and goals in the Europa League where he had Mata, Hazard and Oscar supplying are 'big goals' then that's fine. Just saying that when it comes to big goals, Drogba completely ***** on Torres

And if he only shows up against Arsenal and in cup finals ... I think that's a brilliant season for a third choice striker. I don't understand how you can be opposed to that

You would probably cut off your right hand if you could win the Wenger cup

Thats fair enough mate. Just saying that it's pretty unfair to compare his last two seasons with that of Drogba because Drogba was playing in Turkey. The whole discussion centred around who will be better as a third choice striker

I'll PM you it once I get going on it, I did a couple of world cup ones but was less than happy with them, the books was brilliant especially inverting the pyramid still working my way through the ball is round its a big ******

That wasn't your argument though. You tried to argue he hasnt scored big goals, you are still doing it now, trying to discount the EL right now. Why you keep mentioning Mata et al is bizarre, as if playing with them somehow makes his goals less valid. Do we discount Drogba's goals, or do they lose importance because he played at his peak with such a fearsome Chelsea side? of course not, it bears zero relevance.

I wasn't and never have been opposed to it.

Drogba hasnt been doing it for the last couple of years, Torres has though. And doing it in Europe particularly vital, as it allows you to rest the likes of Costa, instead of playing 3 games in a week.
