I don't understand why Hazard played the full 90: would have liked to have seen earlier subs too.

Jose has done that quite a few times now which is getting frustrating. Plus the fact that the same few players have been playing nearly every game which leads to fatigue, sluggishness etc. Back to the 'untouchables' mentality which I never really liked anyways

Sunderland played really really good. To be honest I'm disappointed with the draw and I shouldn't be.

Seeing Lampard score for Man City is like watching an ex girlfriend **** your school bully in your own bed!

Didn't see the game yesterday as i was at work and although i saw the highlights i don't feel i can judge the performance so much. I have however seen a graphic which shows the average positions of our players and its very narrow. This is something which i believed to be our only flaw for quite a few years now. Our wingers are inside forward none of them love going outside the full back and you could get away with this if our fullbacks could generate that width at times. Ivanovic likes to come inside and when he does cross isn't the best and Azpi is playing on his weaker side so naturally will look inside. Having Azpi and Luis yesterday may have gave us more attacking width but never mind.

I thought i'd do this after City played as i spoke to my brother yesterday and said to him i think City will go on a bit of a winning run now, so its all up to us and whether we can keep it up too. I am obviously frustrated with our result yesterday but there was a reason i felt more nervous about that fixture than ones at Liverpool, Man Utd etc. We all know its matches like that where Chelsea will drop points in but we need to look at the positives. 20 games unbeaten this season and even more surprising than that an unbeaten November!!!!!!!

Bad news with Costa missing Wednesday's game but if anyone can rise to the occasion of playing a rival then surely its Drogba? Use Remy as an impact sub late on but i'd be surprised if it isn't Drogba that starts.

I now feel the title race has started, the gap down to 6 points with it being City behind us. Strap yourselves in ladies and gents, its going to be a roller coaster from here on wards!

Didn't watch the ac Milan game but apparently Van Ginkel put in a very good performance today. Great to see him back from injury now and hopefully he can now stay fit and have a very good season out on loan.

Anyone knows anything about why Kalas is yet to play a single minute for Koln so far? I think he should be recalled in January, this is not what he went out for.

Genuinely feels great to have a competent strikeforce again. All three goals were taken very well and after a nervy first 15 minutes, we hardly broke a sweat. Fantastic performance

Only bummer is that Matic is suspended for the Newcastle game although Mikel should be an able replacement

And here we are again yet another brilliant performance this season and another victory against Spurs at home! Every time this fixture comes around i'm always nervous but only because i know this run has to end sometime and i just don't want it to.

On the game i actually felt we started quite poorly, couldn't seem to get a grip of the game and Spurs looked a threat coming forward. But as soon as we got a hold of the game it was always going to end one way. This is one of the most prolific, hard working, ruthless and interchanging sides i have ever witnessed in my life. The first goal was a thing of beauty, reminded me of the goal Hazard scored last season vs Newcastle when he linked up that time with Eto'o. Now to the 2nd goal, ever since last Saturday when we all knew Costa would be out of this game i said "100% Drogba starts Wednesday". And even since then on here and Twitter many Chelsea fans have been questioning Drogba starting this game and i'll give them a little advice for future reference "start giving predictions after the event" ;). What a performance overall from the big lad, a goal and an assist for someone apparently "passed it", lets all just just finally admit this is a man who can still do a job shall we.

When i said that Drogba would start back last Saturday i also said Remy would be used as an impact sub late on, brilliant seeing the lad score again and lets hope he can stay injury free for a little while now. The most pleasing thing for me was late on in the 2nd half when we were 2-0 up, Spurs had possession and one of our players nipped in won the ball with an excellent tackle really deep in our half and i just suspected it was Matic, Oscar, Fabregas or Azpilicueta. No, this was Eden Hazard! Our playmaking inside forward had tracked back all this way and won back possession to start a counter attack! Jose Mourinho's criticisms of him last season in the media have worked, Hazard is already twice the player he was when he joined us from Lille in 2012.

Seems as if i am re-quoting all my stuff on here but i said not so long ago i fully expected City to go on a bit of a run now so its all about us making sure we stay in front by the time we play them at the end of January.

How ****** good is it being a Chelsea fan ladies and gents??

Must say Zouma looked very impressive when he came on at half time for Cahill.

Agreed mate. I wish Mourinho rotated more because players like Schurrle, Zouma, Luis, Mikel, Remy and **** even Drogba are quality and yet they are barely getting a look in. I completely agree with the make-up of our starting 11 but that's no excuse not to rotate especially when the bench is so good as shown today

Is it too early to say 'I told you so' to the Drogba naysayers that were on this site when he rejoined? He's done very well considering what was expected.

Football Italia

Looks like some things will always remain the same. Unbelievable that some people felt Torres would be better than Drogba in our squad

I admit i was one of those naysayers, but i'm glad i was proven wrong.
From years with no proper striker, now we have 3 that actually score. How cool is that?

You mean Welbeck-esque?

No. He reminds me of Henry so much. Obviously Henry is/was a ******* monster. Remy has the similar body, movement, finish, technique. I've watched Henry so much back in the day(cuz he is/was one of my favourite players), I can clearly see the resemblance. Though, Remy will never reach that level (I THINK). Henry was just a god.

If Costa ends up injured would be interesting to see how he would get on in this team with a good run of games, Remy is a player I really like too still can't work out why pool didn't get the deal done especially given how woeful they have been up top since Sturridge been injured.
