If Costa ends up injured would be interesting to see how he would get on in this team with a good run of games, Remy is a player I really like too still can't work out why pool didn't get the deal done especially given how woeful they have been up top since Sturridge been injured.

No it wouldn't dude. Lol. I really don't wanna find out what would happen. I definitely think we will see more of him this month especially when we have like 10 games or some ****. Costa can't play 10 games. Not even close.

Fun fact: Loic Remy has scored the same number of goals as Liverpools entire strikeforce in the premiere league this season

Feels good to be on the right side of these stats for once

Pretty well. Only in 1 league (Football Weekly Extra) but I'm in the top 30 atm. The big problem is that the league leader has a 50 point lead on 2nd and is almost 100 above me.

(the new above Costa is because I switched him out this week due to his ban, got 9 points from Lukaku :D )

Cant post a pic of mine in leeds off to watch basement jaxx with the mrs. Prem been trying to be different tp catch the leader in my mini league because he is 60 in front of me but just never works out at all. Captain pick has done me in last 3 weeks no scorer.

Champions league is golden though had 4 out last week (3 bayern cheers pep :( ) but my strikeforce of Aguero, Mandzukic and Messi who I captained smashed it for over 100 points. The guy who was leading captained the shakhter player who scored a boatload vs BATE so he was 50 in front now I am top by 20.

Agreed mate. I wish Mourinho rotated more because players like Schurrle, Zouma, Luis, Mikel, Remy and **** even Drogba are quality and yet they are barely getting a look in. I completely agree with the make-up of our starting 11 but that's no excuse not to rotate especially when the bench is so good as shown today

Jose is the complete polar opposite of Benitez when it comes to rotating. Rafa relies 100% on sports science but Jose goes on his own judgement from what he sees. I think we are doing okay in terms of fitness, in the majority of games lately we have had them won early on and in games vs West Brom and last night the opposition had a lot of possession in the 2nd half and that's because we let them have the ball. Letting them have the ball while we sit deep is basically resting during matches, our defence is too good for them to breach and if we then need to kick it up a notch again we can. I did feel Fabregas looked tired last night, Matic will get a rest saturday (unfortunately) and anyone who wants a rest can have one next wednesday as we have Sporting in a game which means nothing to us.

Is it too early to say 'I told you so' to the Drogba naysayers that were on this site when he rejoined? He's done very well considering what was expected.

I'm so glad i was one of the backers from day one! What a man

I do feel that Schurrle needs to be playing regularly if he's to develop into the player he can so obviously become. It's a hard situation, because he's way too good to be sending out on loan, too good to be benched that often but not quite good enough to break into a regular first team spot.

Its unfortunate because he came back from a mentally/physically taxing World Cup, suffered a bad illness soon after and didn't exactly set the world alight in the limited opportunities he did get on the pitch and understandably so. Combine that with the fact that this has been our best start to a season for some time, it's just pretty **** bad luck that he is on the bench

Nonetheless, he should get starts versus Derby and Sporting and hopefully he can hit some form in those games

I actually wouldn't mind sending Salah out on loan and recalling Van Ginkel in January. Remy's versatility means he can easily cover Salah's spot on the depth chart and we need someone who can back up Fabregas

Salah should definitely go. I knew he wouldn't make it. Too much class in those positions. He is too **** even for Everton, so not sure where he will go. Maybe not England.

Next fixture Newcastle United ( A ) on 06/12/14 @12:45.

Our last result at Newcastle 02/11/2013: Newcastle (Gouffran, Remy) 2-0 Chelsea.

Our biggest win at away at Newcastle 25/03/1961: Newcastle (Duncan Neale) 1-6 (Jimmy Greaves x4, Ron Tindall x2) Chelsea.

Our biggest ever defeat away at Newcastle 16/11/1974: Newcastle (Alan Kennedy, Stewart Barrowclough, Paul Cannell, Malcolm McDonald x2) 5-0 Chelsea.

Chelsea's away league record this season: P-7, W-4, D-3, L-0, F-15, A-8.
Newcastle's home league record this season: P-6, W-3, D-2, L-1, F-8, A-7.

Our record vs Newcastle away (all comps): Played-75, Won-20, Drawn-18, Lost-37, For-83, Against-108.

My stats of the game: Jose Mourinho's Chelsea have never won at St James' Park in four visits (D2 L2).

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last 23 games (in all competitions), they have never before gone 24 competitive games in a row without defeat.

Jose Mourinho could reach the 400-point landmark as a Premier League manager in this game (currently 398).

Who else thinks we are definitely losing (points) tomorrow? Matic is gonna be missed sooo ******* bad.

Am I the only one who thinks Mikel is playing poorly? Hopefully the missed chances dont come back to haunt us.

Well, when I'm right I'm right. I knew we would lose. Hate this ground. Cahill played like **** though.

Can someone give me the number for samsung, my tv was going in slow mo everytime chelsea got the ball

Jose axed all players who were poor so far, so to follow this trend, I think Zouma should start a few games ahead of Cahill. Not blaming or anything, but he was rather poor the last few games.

The only "positive" thing out of today, is that we lost this Invincible tag, so now the players can focus on winning it one at a time, not beating useless records that don't count for anything.
