I wouldn't be going mad if Balotelli did it because in the end Chelsea won the game. As for saying Costa's a cheat, you're way off, he likes a physical battle but that's far from being a cheat (It's called passion) and Costa respects defenders that give it back, he likes a battle.

i ment if chelsea didnt win the game liverpool win one nil after balotelli clearly stamps on 2 players. he is a dirty **** was when he was with atletico madrid and still is now he is at chelsea

What are you talking about utter rubbish it was two clear stamps and he deserves a ban. you can bet you bullocks if it was suarez he would be banned and called a cheat by every tom, **** and harry

It wasn't cheating, technically. Being a **** isn't really cheating.

He's the sort of player you hate as an an opposing fan, however as a Chelsea fan you love him, but just like Saurez there's no denying he's quality. Also refs all season have been s**t and it wasn't any different today, both teams had decisions that didn't go their way.

ohh excuse me then its called being a ****

Indeed it is. Much like Suarez was.

Costa will get fined and maybe banned if the rules allow it, and that'll be his comeuppance. To discuss what he was doing is to gloss over how the game progressed.

And to think that the Head of English Officials Mike Riley came out a couple of days ago and said that refereeing standards are better than ever, what a p***k! He deserves the sack if that's his honest opinion.

Not sure if what Costa did was intentional. Its more like...he intentionally doesn't jump over. And if something bad happens, it happens. Obviously a **** move, doubt it warrants a ban though.

Surprised people seem shocked by this, like suarez at ajax costa was also a massive ***** at atletico, nothing new.

Battling with defenders is not cheating. It's called passion and aggressiveness. Cheating is when Suarez uses his hands to block a goal-bound shot or continuously dives to fool refs

because stamping on people is so much better

You mean at the World Cup? Technically that wasn't cheating. Not to say Suarez is not a cheat, but I didn't see that particular case as cheating. He made a play that was against the rules and both him and his team got penalized according to the rules. Its no different then a foul.

either way he is a dirty ****

Hah, I don't think anybody's arguing against it.

Then what would constitute somebody cheating then? A bad tackle is a foul but a tackle is accepted as part of the game that was done badly. Both sets of players step onto the field consenting to being tackled. However, using your hands as an outfield player is not an accepted part of the game

FWIW I think the first one was a stamp and the second wasn't deliberate. Hey ho.

Actually not quite true. How you battle with them matters as to whether its cheating or not.
