Just seen the score looks like I missed another cracking game through work, will have to watch MOTD 2 later on

You guys just need to be bad in one more game, against United. As far as I go, you can win all other games :D

There is no special thread for this, so i'll just leave it here. Watch the El Classico, which should probably be renamed El Oscaro. Bunch of cheats and overreacting actors.

I was just thinking the same thing. I just can't watch this ******* **** anymore. It was fine while the game was 1-1, but the moment Barca went 2-1 up, entire team starts rolling on the floor like they're about to die.

I know. It's like watching two Chelsea's playing each other!

Its more like two Chelsea's that traveled 20 years back in time and are in age of kindergarten. :D

Seriously I was watching El Clasico and I was thinking "wow I can't believe people were giving Chelsea **** for that Ibra moment, when this stuff is x100 worse".

I remember when El Classico was a celebration of football that rivaled CL knockout stages and the World Cup. Now its a festival of self-loathing overreactions and bad acting. I'm rarely emotional about football since I'm 100% neutral. But after 20 minutes of that **** yesterday, I wanted to strangle Neymar with my bare hands, I swear to God. And I'd gladly do the same to Ronaldo, if he wasn't build like a wolverine.

Old Real and Barca had class, man. People like Raul or Pep would set the standard for the rest. And even when they had some ***** players, like Zidane , at least when he was fouled he would ******* headbutt people, instead of whining like a little *****.

Not sure about others but I love Madrid Vs Barca match. Used to hate it when Barca rolled over the ground all game but now they don't that much. Madrid have excellent pace in attack and Barca have so much skill with Messi feeding Suarez and Neymar. It's a great match, much better than any England derbies where the game is very cagey and both teams are scared of loss.

Oh god, no. Way too much play-acting for my liking. I used to love the El Classico derbies, but now? Urk! The few times both teams (especially Barca) get around to actually playing football, it's nice to watch, but there is literally way too less, if not none of it in this derby. Also, there is literally less to no tension apparent anywhere. Whereas, in an English derby, it is frickin' crazy.

Full marks to Courtois. Many goalkeepers would have crumbled after a mistake like that but he kept it together and pulled off a fantastic performance in the second half

Next season with Courtois, Luis, Cuadrado and Costa fully settled in. I think we will have a fantastic team

BTW, thanks for Mata. I was not convinced by him but he is proving me wrong. His last 2 games from wide right are excellent and for some strange reason Mata playing as winger his whole career was ignored and the excuse for his poor performance was he is not a winger but a #10. At least that myth should be put to bed, Mata is an excellent wide player, his passing and movement from wide positions is very good.

Maybe Chelsea did right thing from your POV to sell him but I'm glad we signed him. Not just because he is a good player but he is excellent with all the teammates and surprisingly bright for a football player.

All the players Chelsea sold are coming back to form.
Lukaku is scoring now. His form in CL was very good
De Bruyne - wont talk about him. His record speak for itself.
Luiz - haven't watched him but he did well against you in CL.
Mata - took very long but looking very good with Herrera in the team.
Salah - Is having great time at Fiorentina. His performance against Roma was pure class.

Good business by Chelsea and also for the teams who signed him albeit paying bit over the odds.

I will always like Mata and up until recently I thought he was a bit unfairly treated at United. There's no denying he's a top player when he's on it, however the problem with him for myself was always that he can be taken out of a game too easily and when that happens you might as well be playing with 10 men. Still I'd love to see him back in blue, but for £37m that was great business from our point of view and we did the right thing. Also I'm pretty sure Mata has two degrees, one in sports science and the other in marketing.

I wouldn't say he was treated unfairly completely. When given chances he didn't take it initially, then he played well but was dropped. Glad he is back.

Yeah at the start of the season his work rate was low, but in the last 2 games he was excellent even with his work rate.

Btw yeah he likes Marketing and Economics. He answered that recently.

Correction: We haven't actually sold Salah ;)

Glad to see all of them doing well. Chelsea always knew players like De Bruyne and Lukaku will be class. In fact, Wolfsburg president even mentioned that Chelsea staff have 'watched with satisfaction as De Bruyne evolved into the player they always thought he will be'. No complaints at all. It's hard to break into the Chelsea XI now and to see the quality of players who can't break in only shows how far the club has progressed
