Nathan Ake has joined Reading on a months loan. Very good signing for them he hasn't put a foot wrong once when he has appearances for chelsea. Would like to say he has a chance at making it for us but we all know chelsea his talent and potential will be wasted just like all the others.

JT has penned his new one year deal. What an incredible defender he is! I have respect for Rafa but how wrong was he when he thought JT was finished.

It's becoming a habit. He performs well for country like 90% of the time, but he manages to forget everything he knows when he returns to club.

Or the type of play he's asked to do at both places differs..? With Chelsea, he has to focus a lot on the defensive aspect of things too, whereas for Brazil, he can probably let loose? (I'm guessing here, didn't see the Brazil match..)

I would also say exhaustion could be a factor, considering he featured in the WC, and then the season started rather quickly too..

The defensive work of the #10 is being a bit exaggerated. Yes he needs to track back when the team loses possession, but Oscar barely contributes to build-up play when in possession.
I agree with the exhaustion theory, but you don't just get fit instantly whenever you play for Brazil. He was holding back last season too, preparing for the World Cup, and we lost the title in the final games. Now I'm not blaming Oscar for this, it was a collective ****-up, but he had his part.

Hey blues,it is true that Juventus's manager,Allegri, said thet he wants Oscar at his team, and he will do anythink to get himmm...so Osca to Juve ? I still cant believe it...
Also,they said for 30m€ ?! Really ? Oscar's young,very talented,an amazing player...
I think hes my favourite playet from Chelsea...

Sounds like BS to me but he has been poor and Chelsea have let go of some good young players if the fee is big enough.

Yup,like De Bruyne,and others...

They didn't fit the system though. If we sell Oscar, who would we realistically replace him with? Maaaaybe Fabregas could do the job if we got another distributing play to go in the pivot, but it's still debatable as to whether or not that would be an upgrade. We're certainly not going to replace him with a traditional 10.

I dunno if I would put Fabregas there.. He has an inclination to drop deeper when playing as a #10..

Superb win. Hazard was fantastic. We might see a genuine world-class player in him next season

>_> Hazard is already world-class. In terms of ability and talent, definitely. Don't do a Mourinho by trying to hype it down.
