Yeah, fully expect Mourinho to add one or two top tier additions to keep you comfortably clear in England.

Still think your lacking too much in Europe though, even given how he sets a side up.

Right now? Yes, we definitely are but we're also n the cusp of greatness. 2 or 3 big signings and we can climb that last hurdle into the absolute top tier.

Yes and no. Yes, we'll probably sign one or two new players. But I wouldn't necessarily say we're lacking too much when it comes to Europe. Obviously people will judge us in Europe based on last seasons performances in the CL, however I think that's slightly unfair. I admit we played terribly against PSG, but we never lost in that CL campaign and in the build up to those PSG ties a lot of our key players weren't exactly performing to their best in the EPL anyway. Also in 2013/14 we beat expectations by reaching the semi-finals of the CL, so it's not like we're miles away from winning it. I do agree that Mourinho needs to loosen the reins a bit when it comes to playing the 'elite' teams though.

Pity he plays for Liverpool. Otherwise you wouldn't have said he is the best #10 in the league.

Even when ManUtd were winning league titles for fun, no one rated midfield of Cleverley, Carrick as one of the best because it's easy to say what is quality and what is plain average.

Again, we know just how talented he is and it was great to hear the rest of football finally openly applauding him last year, not least his peers. Ironic we're in the Chelsea thread as their captain was fair gushing over him.

So your validation isn't needed. Thanks all the same.

My only real fear is this time next year he could well be plucked by Madrid or Barcelona. He's WAY too good for the current ****e at Anfield

I can only speak for myself and how I see it, but it isn't so much last year's campaign more than I don't think you have the top bracket difference makers outside of Hazard to turn the tight games against the very best like the two Spanish sides do.

Mourinho's tactical nounce and the way he sets a team up is a great leveller. But I feel you're just that little extra quality short to take you over the top.

But hey, when you finally won it that was as totally unexpected as ourselves in 2005; so once you're in the dance of the knock-out stages anything can happen.

I'm pleased to see that the old Tinkerman will be back managing in the Prem.

Ranieri? Sweet! Real loveable, genuinely nice guy that fella'.

Thought he was treated abysmally by Abromovich Mourinho's first go-around.

What gig has he got? Leicester?

Yep, Ranieri to Leicester on a three-year deal.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed when he left back then but I can't exactly argue with Abramovich's appointment of Mourinho. Still Ranieri's one of my favourite Chelsea managers and I don't know anyone that could dislike the man. No doubt he'll get a warm reception at the Bridge in May.

Brilliant.

Genuinely made up to see Claudio back over here. Leicester pressers will be a riot lol.

If it helps, you're both washed up, ****** clubs run by a delusional madman, neither of you has a chance of achieving real success this season or beating us, your players all suck, your fans are impoverished in terms of both finance and passion, your grounds make the Emirates look like the Millerntor, your wives never really loved you and the colour red is crappy compared to blue.

Now, if we could get back to much more important issues, like pining for big signings and hoovering up every youth talent in sight, that'd be great.

Wow...that really stung...lol...

Like a team never goes through transition

We certainly never did. CL winners in 2008, successive league victories for almost a decade, CL winners again in 2012, all the while we switched cleanly between legends like Lampard and Drogba to the mighty El Nino and Matic, our best youth player who seemlessly rose through the ranks into the first team. Of course, the Liverpool media conspiracy tells a different story but **** them, we're all clever enough to see through their ruses. I mean we even trashed Atletico so hard in the 2012 super cup that Falcao became ****, and now we've adopted him to make it all right again, because we have much class and consistency. That was shortly before those **** Parisian Socialist Guerillas burnt down the Reichstag and our blessed leader took emergency powers if memory serves. Our all black away kit that year was especially fetching.

Anyway, like I was saying, we never had any ****** transitional periods, unlike you filthy unwashed scum, and I certainly wasn't joking in any way.

Erm guys c'mon! He's loveable I admit it but rather **** (never won anything despite his age etc). Last job was really ballsing up the Greek national team.

This didn't make any sense in any way...you didn't win the CL in 2008...not sure why this got likes

Exactly! He's lovable but unlikely to actually take points off us, the perfect combination.

Please enlighten me on what I did or said wrong?

I could take it he was being sarcastic and laugh over it but at the end he said he wasn't joking...
What did I do wrong?

You didn't cotton on at the part where Jose became the beloved dictator of **** Germany?
