I wish we'd bid for Aguero, i feel sorry for the lad with no one bidding apart from Man City and Juve.

No Champions League, which he wants?

They're quite clearly building themselves back to where they should be in Serie A. Showing a lot more ambition than Atletico, plus they have a glorious history and an absolute legend of the game in Del Piero for him to learn from. Not such a bad club to move to.

I wouldn't say Aguero needs to learn from anyone tbh. He's already a top player.

Juve pulled out of KA, they're getting Rossi.

Just a little soundbite from me lol

Yes but he wants to play in the Champions League which they're quite clearly not in..

Plus this.

AVB said that both Rajkovic and Alex will join the team on the tour despite not taking part today. And also Cech, but that was obvious. So what I posted earlier must have been a mistake by whoever wrote the article. I really hope we keep Rajkovic and Alex. I feel Rajkovic will be a very good 5th centre back or 4th/3rd if he performs well and he can play LB...and even RB according to FM.

I already answered that exact question. If they're willing to blow £40m on Aguero do you think they're going to be satisfied outside of the top 4?

There's always something else you can learn.

Why do you feel sorry for City only showing interest in England? I don't see any difference between Chelsea and City that make them a more attractive proposition. Certainly nothing worthy of sympathy.

Yeah, was going to say that too. I think they finally realised he wanted CL football. And Rossi will be cheaper at around 33 million.

Yeah, I suppose. Fair point.

Isn't the reason hes leaving Atletico is because he wants to play Champions League football this season? Not move to a club that might not make it into the Champs League next season as then he'd stay at Atletico surely.

It doesn't matter if their satisfied or not with being outside the top 4, It won't change Aguero's mindset..

Yes it will. If they're showing strong ambition to reach the CL, why not? So by your logic, he's better off going to Napoli than Juventus? Or, Spurs would have been the superior destination last season? Juve are well showing the ambition to be a force in Serie A again, only a seriously ignorant man would say a club that currently has CL is a better place to move to on that basis. City managed to attract stars, did they not?

Atletico are much, much less likely to reach the CL again. Juve have a glittering history. What makes you so sure that Chelsea will offer him CL next season? Or City will? There's a Spurs free of CL commitment, a resurgent Liverpool to contend with. There's an equal chance of Juventus qualifying next season as there is Chelsea/City not.

He wants to stay in Spain or move to England so his likely destination will be City which is why he rejected Juve.

I agree Juve are showing ambition and will most likely be in the Champions League soon but City are in the Champions League the coming season a long with Chelsea and have money and ambition like Juve with, in many peoples opinions a better standard league. The only thing Juve has that could be more tempting is history and maybe Del P but i doubt a player would move just to learn from another player..

I can understand him not moving if he doesn't want to go to Italy. But you firstly grouped them with City, which is stupid. And implied he shouldn't go there because of Juve the club, which is wrong.

Lol no I like Juve I meant I felt sorry for him because hes an amazing player who deserves to play for top teams such as Madrid, Barca, Utd (would it be cheeky if I said Chelsea?) who would/should/will be challenging for silverware. Where as Juve are in a transition faze, nothing against the club.
