I missed todays game, what was torres like, general feeling?

Also @CJACKO: Why would we want Ba, is Sturridge, Malouda, Kalou, Anelka, Torres, Drogba, Borini and Kakuta not enough forwards for a 4-3-3?

Borini's contract is up and will be leaving, Kakuta has not proven himself at Fulham so why would he be good enough for Chelsea and 2 of Drogba, Anelka and Malouda i think will be leaving.

Okay, lets put it another way: WOULD YOU REALLY WANT US TO SIGN HIM? .. Cmon man hes not the player we're looking for. I would say someone like Aguero or Neymar would be more useful.. Couldnt you agree?

The man has played very well for a very poor side. He is a young lad and although yes i would prefer either Aguero or Neymar but they would cost treble what Ba would cost us.

Watched half the match, listened to commentation for the second half, feeling's that Torres played poorly, the radio made it sound like he was very awful.

He was average but so was his teammates. Great Drogba like flick on for the first goal and a few good runs and he tracked back really well but yer like most of the players pretty average.

Id say you're too far into the FM world to understand realism. We will not be buying a striker this summer. Full stop. Anelka and Zhirkov will leave, along with Bosingwa, Hilario and a few youngsters.

Signed will be A fullback, and 2 wingers and maybe a midfielder, probably already decided upon.

Ba played both as a striker as well as Winger for Hoffe.. His finishing is erratic tbh..

Either way, he is not what Chelsea want or need.

I dont know, i still feel Torres and Drogba can work together but if u look at the circumstances they were in, not really ideal to bed in a new strike partnership, maybe if they train during pre-season with no pressure or worries, it might work out

Drogba cant work with Torres more than Torres cant work with Drogba simple as that. Drogba has always been the main man upfront and has not needed a striker partner and it will never change unfortunatly.

I just hope we actually for once confirm our long-standing interest in Neymar and go after him as well as Lukaku and Van Der Wiel, plus we need to sell 2-3 players with Anelka being the top of the list as he is old and will hardly get a chance to play, if are going after Kaka, jolly good he is a world-class player with much to offer and his performance against Valencia recently justifies that, I just hope we dont completely break up the playing squad like last season and we dont sell Drogba, he is an amazing player and we will need him next season, we just need to rejuvenate the Squad
