The only real concern with signing Kaka should be the question of his position in your tactics. Clearly, Chelsea prefer the 4-3-3, whereas Kaka is more suited to a 4-4-1-1 or 4-2-3-1. He's had a few injuries this year, but is no more injury prone than Torres.

Also, Hulk has the ability to go either way, he can take on his man and get to the byline, but is more comfortable cutting onto his stronger foot. You don't necessarily need 2 out and out wingers though. At United, we have Park/Nani on the left and the real width is provided by the full back. If you signed an attacking right back, Hulk would leave him a lot of space to attack - he'd be perfect for Chelsea. If I were a Chelsea fan, I'd like to see:

Cech
Van Der Wiel - Luiz - Terry - ------ Cole
Essien - Lampard
Hulk ------- Kaka ---Sturridge
Torres
With Mikel, Ramires and Malouda all rotated into the team as and when required. I'd offload Anelka and Drogba personally.

Also i can confirm that Rooney did put his fingers up to the Chelsea fans. At the time Chelsea fans were chanting "Rooney your a c**t and your always be a c**t". Which ok is not nice but surely he should be big enough to take it.

Yeah Evra did that to the Arsenal fans at the FA Cup match as we chanted 'Evra, you're a ****. Evra, Evra, you're a ****!' and when he did we all just burst out laughing, the reactions are the best part.

I think he had his chance in the summer but we bought in Ramires. I dont think he is PL standard which is a shame.

Could argue that he was signalling the score ;)

Agreed but if we want to improve our team and make the squad younger we're going to have to spend about 70 mil in the summer, saying that though we will probably get 20 mil back from selling players.

On a non-transfer note - I'm loving the new home shirt :)

Yer i like the new shirt too, will be getting it within the next week or so and will be getting my un-born baby girl one too lol.

Its a great squad and would work without a dout. I dont think Hulk will leave Porto and personly i think Luiz is abit of a libility at centre back. Alex's 2nd half performance at OT showed us why we shouldnt get rid of him and maybe he is better suited at CB and move Luiz a little further forward in DM. Also alot of Chelsea fans have talked about the possability of Essien leaving, apparently Milan are willing to offer 20m+ for him and although on his day he is immense we have to question whether we will see that day again and think about cashing in. Lampard i think will get less game time next season as we need to start learning how to play without the likes of Lamps and Drogba so i think Ramires and McEachran will get more minutes next season.

Maybe but i spose it depends what way round his fingers were.

Obviously Lampard shouldn't play as many games, and he needs to adapt his own game to sit deeper and control matches (much like he does for England) as his body won't allow the box to box play that he is reknowned for. Chelsea need to start using a squad more (like United do) and be less dependant on a few individuals. Hulk will leave Porto, they are a selling club and aren't in any position to reject big offers. £20m+ for Essien would be a decent deal given his age, but he is quality. He's clearly had a dip in form though

I hope your right because i would love Hulk at Chelsea. Agree with Lamps but its a question of whether he would actually sit back because its not what he is used too. Lamps is at his best when he can burst into the box late, take that out of his game and to be honest you have half the player so maybe it would be best to just limit his games. I think this summer will be very busy for Chelsea with transfers in and out, possibly the busiest since Roman took over in 2003.

I think Lampard can do it, he has the technical abilities and passing range. Scholes used to be well known for his late runs into the box, but was able to adapt his game to prolong his career

For some reason I honestly feel the Kaka deal is something which is looking like it can happen, I am sure Roman would want a Champions League Winner playing at the club alongside Torres, plus if we sign the likes of Neymar and Van Der Wiel, Our team will be amazing next season, if Kaka comes I am sure Ancelloti will get the best out of him maybe by selling Malouda and Kalou and then focusing our efforts on a new 4-1-2-1-2 or 4-3-1-2 system with Kaka playing behind 2 forwards and the likes of Lampard, Essien and Mikel making up the midfield

Ancelotti: "It might be the last home game but I am focused to put out the best team & say thanks to the fans."

I really don't know why we want VDW. He's a good player, but Iva's been our best player this season (along with Cech) and at CB we've already got Alex, Terry, Luiz and Bruma, so why would we need 5 players for a position that has 2 slots. We should get a young RB about 18/19 that won't be pushing for a starting spot yet and then when we need to rest Ivanovic or need to bring on a more attacking RB then we will have someone there. Obviously that is if we sell Bosingwa, which we hopefully will because he's a liability when defending.

Absolute legend, love the man and he deserves atleast to see out his contract.

If Roman has any sense, he wont sack Ancelloti, the man did an incredible job rousing Chelsea from their prolonged mid-season slump and although one can argue than in 15 games, he has still not found the best role for Torres, they were hardly the ideal circumstances to do so and yet he tried his level best, I truly believe that if he remains at the club, since he knows the club relatively well he will be the best man to supervise what I forsee will be an extremely busy transfer window and work out a new shape;system to our team so that we can fit in Torres and hopefully any new signings (Kaka!)

Roman doesnt care if Carlo is a brilliant manager, all he cares about is titles. Our trophy-less season will sack Carlo, to put it that way.
Roman is hungry. He wants titles as he doesnt understand that we CANNOT win everything every-effing-year.
That's why Jose got sacked, and Roman understands his mistake and if there was any chance to bring Mou back he would bring him immediately. But that's Roman's pride speaking there. He's a proud man with dignity..
Yes, he will be wrong if he sack Carlo. No doubt.

SO LETS PRAY HE DOESNT !!!!!!!!!!!

CARLO, WE ARE ALL BEHIND YOU!

People lambaster Roman when he makes rash decisions but people need to understand Uncle Roman didnt get to where he is now by losing did he. All Roman knows is how to win so when he dosent win he feels the need to change, its a business approach which is all he knows.

Yes but you will never keep winning if you always sack your managers if you have a bad season

Yes but you will never keep winning if you always sack your managers if you have a bad season you need consistency like SAF and Wenger

Well we havent done too bad so far have we lol. I agree i would love to see a manager given some time but Roman is a businessman and in business if you dont reach your target you get sacked simple as that. In any other workplace Wenger would have been sacked ages ago.
