NEW POST! Premier League Preview Top 6 + Bottom 3 Predictions! http://t.co/qTZXnV8

S
orry for the plug, but it's about the club. Would like to know if people agree or not?

Replied.

Too early to make definitive title predictions until the window shuts but at the minute I can't see past City for the title and United a close 2nd.

Agree with most of the comments, Torres will make or break Andre and Dzeko/Balotelli will step up for Mancini.

Exactly same as you. but if Chelsea sign a quality winger and playmaker, then I'd fancy our chances. And the reason I don't think we'll win isn't because we're past it/too old because we aren't. I'd like to lower the squad age, but most of the players are still at their peak. But like I say unless we get a new playmaker and winger I don't like our chances, just don't have enough quality on the wings and don't have an advanced playmaker, other than McEachran, of course and I don't see him playing 38 PL games.

Jeffrey Bruma started for HSV alongside Mancienne and Tore is on the right wing. Only 20 mins in, he hasn't had anything to do yet really.

Starting to wish we didn't let Tore join Hamburg - he's playing really well, I knew his game well from watching the reserves and he looked really good, but I didn't think he could step up to top level football.

Ok guys I just leaked out a couple of tears when I was reading through some stuff on my Iphone and I am here to share with you on our soon to be new signing Lukaku.....

"For real ... I love Chelsea" - Romelu Lukaku's first visit to Stamford Bridge in 2010 [EXTENDED] - YouTube

Ok guys this is a short clip from a Belgian Televsion Programme called the The School of Lukaku which basicall followed Lukaku and his classmates around and one proggramme showed them visiting Stamford Bridge and this was a short clip from that particular programme. Now in it we firstly see Lukaku standing in front of a life size Didier Drogba poster, wearing a No 11 Drogba shirt. Inside the stadium, Lukaku wants to sit alone, away from his mates, to better savour the moment. He says to the camera: "The only time they will ever see me cry at home is when I play here. Apart from that, never." When his teacher asks him to come back inside with the rest and says he can dream a little more inside, Lukaku answers: "It's not a dream. I will play here. You will see."

And when he signed for Chelsea....

"He went completely nuts," his father said. "He put on his new Chelsea shirt and started jumping around the sitting room. It made me realise all over that he is still only 18. That gives him a certain naivety, but that is also a strength, in that he feels the pressure a lot less."

And he also sleeps in his Chelsea shirt

It just made me realise that truly there are some things money can't buy and that love and passion in football indeed exists. Lukaku is a special signing for us guys and I think when he makes his debut, he deserves a huge welcome because this is a guy who gave his all to play on the Stamford Bridge pitch and this also told me that whoever says that we have no history or we buy players who don't play for the badge are talking bollocks because we have a living example right here

Lukaku... soon to be Chelsea Legend:wub:

Thing that excites all of the Chelsea fans is he genuinely loves the football club and is excited himself about the move.

Going straight in my fantasy team as my 3rd striker.

no mate but what it really showed me was that Chelsea were a real football club... I admit I only supported Chelsea when Roman took over and a lot of times I keep hearing the same...'Your players dont play for he badge' or 'Your supporters are just idiots who jump on the bandwagon' but such players coming in dispells those doubts

yeah. cuz whoever says all that simply has no clue about being a real fan. and whoever says that we support our club since 2003, since we got rich, is a hairy fat ****. seriously.

im tired of listening to people say all that ****, really. We have history. we just dont have as many titles as other clubs, but one day we will.

I love Lukaku already

Same, shame that the Premier League website wasn't working when I was trying to do my team :@ Even though Lukaku hasn't signed yet, but still I miss out on this weekend's points :(

Oh and on Romelu Lukaku I just remembered an interview from a few months ago on Beyond The Pitch. I'm not sure if anyone posted it when it was released though - I think I might have, but can't remember. Anyway, here it is - Podcast: Beyond The Pitch - Romelu Lukaku

I actually can't put him in without sacrificing Bosingwa/Torres/Luiz, I might have to sacrifice Jose to get him in.

Getting rid of Gervinho as my forward, need someone more reliable like Chicharito to partner Torres.

Re Podcast: Lukaku is a media fiend, he will take any CFC TV work he can get...He will love life in England.

Can not wait for his arrival. ^^)

Blues boss wants two more

Not sure if that's been posted. Good to see AVB has recognised where Chelsea most need improving.

Yeah I was going to post it yesterday, but it was only on The Sun etc. So didn't trust it. Saw it on SS today though, it was obvious he wanted a midfielder, but wasn't sure he actually wanted a winger, glad he is though. Mata hopefully.
