anybody watched the live press-confrence?
Tried. The stream wasn't working, did you?
McEachran is now number 20!
Replied.
Too early to make definitive title predictions until the window shuts but at the minute I can't see past City for the title and United a close 2nd.
Agree with most of the comments, Torres will make or break Andre and Dzeko/Balotelli will step up for Mancini.
Thing that excites all of the Chelsea fans is he genuinely loves the football club and is excited himself about the move.
Going straight in my fantasy team as my 3rd striker.
no mate but what it really showed me was that Chelsea were a real football club... I admit I only supported Chelsea when Roman took over and a lot of times I keep hearing the same...'Your players dont play for he badge' or 'Your supporters are just idiots who jump on the bandwagon' but such players coming in dispells those doubts
Ok guys I just leaked out a couple of tears when I was reading through some stuff on my Iphone and I am here to share with you on our soon to be new signing Lukaku.....
"For real ... I love Chelsea" - Romelu Lukaku's first visit to Stamford Bridge in 2010 [EXTENDED] - YouTube
Ok guys this is a short clip from a Belgian Televsion Programme called the The School of Lukaku which basicall followed Lukaku and his classmates around and one proggramme showed them visiting Stamford Bridge and this was a short clip from that particular programme. Now in it we firstly see Lukaku standing in front of a life size Didier Drogba poster, wearing a No 11 Drogba shirt. Inside the stadium, Lukaku wants to sit alone, away from his mates, to better savour the moment. He says to the camera: "The only time they will ever see me cry at home is when I play here. Apart from that, never." When his teacher asks him to come back inside with the rest and says he can dream a little more inside, Lukaku answers: "It's not a dream. I will play here. You will see."
And when he signed for Chelsea....
"He went completely nuts," his father said. "He put on his new Chelsea shirt and started jumping around the sitting room. It made me realise all over that he is still only 18. That gives him a certain naivety, but that is also a strength, in that he feels the pressure a lot less."
And he also sleeps in his Chelsea shirt
It just made me realise that truly there are some things money can't buy and that love and passion in football indeed exists. Lukaku is a special signing for us guys and I think when he makes his debut, he deserves a huge welcome because this is a guy who gave his all to play on the Stamford Bridge pitch and this also told me that whoever says that we have no history or we buy players who don't play for the badge are talking bollocks because we have a living example right here
Lukaku... soon to be Chelsea Legend:wub:

Blues boss wants two more
Not sure if that's been posted. Good to see AVB has recognised where Chelsea most need improving.
