Kakuta is apparently going to be loaned out to Lille for next season according to some French websites and also Daily Star and The Sun (I think, haven't seen it though). Rumours that it could be part of a deal for Hazard (please, please!) won't get my hopes up though.

After the game AVB confirmed Chelsea are wanting to sign one winger and one midfielder before the market shuts.
He mentioned Modric and Nasri but I hope it's not them, would rather sign Moutinho or Guarin.
Elia spoke yesterday and said it would be 'amazing' if he ever gets the chance to play at Chelsea and Arnesen has said recently that he will only be sold to a big club not a club on the same level. I would be happy with Elia, alot of raw pace with a bag of tricks and he could do some serious damage to PL teams. Him and Moutinho would be ideal, would rather we signed 2 wingers but it looks like it will be just the one.

Yeah he mentioned the winger and midfielder on Friday, and when he talked about Nasri he said he wasn't interested, but he's one of the best in that position. And he also said he's not just concentrating on Modric because Spurs don't want to sell.
Arnesen said this week that Elia won't be sold this summer, but that could change obviously.
Just can't wait to have a playmaker and a new winger though tbh - anybody who is good will do.

Really shame about what happened to Mikel. He is mentally very strong to play the game the way he did after knowing the news. Hopefully he will be back as soon as possible.
He is their number 1 target (Falcao), would probably be 32m euros rising to 37 with Salvio probably heading the other way.

Feeling is that he has put a 2 million feeler out in Nigeria through some contacts so if whoever has him see's it hopefully they will give him back.

What a man Mr Obi Mikel is, after finding out about his dad he decides to play 2 days later and puts in a sensational performance. I so wish his volley went in even more now as his celebration would have been very emmotional. It just goes to show how much this club mean to Mikel and i know for a fact the supporters will support him through this.

Even though I usually sack her.And Mikel didn't even find out 2 days before the game; he only found out just before the game, AVB told him. Which makes it even more amazing.

De Bruyne said his agent was talking with Chelsea last Wednesday and the deal could still happen. And the injury I posted a week or so ago that he suffered luckily wasn't as bad as first thought, should be back fit in about 4 weeks. The plan will still for him to be loaned out.
There's no rush, the deal will be done. I'll be very surprised if he's not joined by the weekend. Rumours that he'll be presented today.

I think Benayoun could be leaving this week, I hope not he's a very good rotational player. But the rumours are either Liverpool again or Tottenham, and if it's Spurs then I'd think it means we finally get Modric. Moutinho is also looking a strong possibility though too.
Benayoun keeps putting out some very interesting tweets. Most of the interesting ones are in Hebrew, but he keeps saying things like "it's only early in the week, a lot can happen, I'll tell you if I have any news." I doubt Chelsea will be to happy with him.
Roger Lukaku has said that AVB told him Romelu will be 3rd choice striker.

Benayoun would have been a good player with someone like Torres. They combine well and Benayoun has very good eye for Killer pass. If you sell him to Spurs then surley it will be as a part of Modric deal. Why do you want to sell him to Liverpool as He maybe the missing link in your midfield..
Dunno tbh. It doesn't make sense, he can play AM, CM, wing or second striker, he's very versatile and is a very useful player, adds something different.
Yeah. If its for Spurs then he will be as a bargaining chip, that would make sense though. Still Modric as CM and Benayoun in the Malouda role would be superb for Chelsea. Full of creativity and possession. He is good in the final third too..
