Mata to Chelsea looks almost a certainty now, very little window availiable if any club wants to hijack the deal and there are not 2 many clubs who can at this moment in time, he is a very exciting player, bags of talent and he was immense for Valencia last season and if he comes to Chelsea, he will be playing among better players so it will be exciting to see how far he can raise his game , obviously a chance that he will require some time to adapt to the EPL but his attitude and mentality is very good, Hopefully it wont take him long
He is an excellent crosser of the ball, very good when asked to cut in and offers a lot of versatility as he can play on the Left and Right as well as a second striker and through the centre, is quick but not one-dimensional as he does have a few tricks

Just what we need in my opinion, a tricky quick winger who actually poses a threat to FBs, well more than Kalou and Anelka anyways... and someone who excites when he has the ball at his feet
Hopefully we sort this out and he can make his debut vs Norwich so he is not under too much pressure at his first taste of English Football
By Far I feel this has been a very sensible transfer window by Chelsea, we have brought in 3 top teenage players, hopefully we can make it 4 by sealing the transfer of De Bruyne... have not rushed into transfers or overpaid
yet!
And we have not forgotten that the thing that brought us down was a lack of depth, hence our interest in the likes of Mata, Modric, Moutinho to shore up our midfield
Now hopefully Roman and Co. do not ruin this by splashing 40m on Modric on deadline day
