how reliable?
Questionable, was reports he was at the ground today too.
how reliable?
something that should have been done from the start, we made the same mistake we made with Sturridge las season by assuring him he will get enough games and then in January finally loaning him out after we realised that we could ill afford to give him opportunities considering we were not doing too well...
Frankly I can think of no better club for young Josh, he should see first-team action at Swansea on a regular basis and will be playing under Brendan Rodgers, a manager who knows how to get the best out of him considering that Rodgers was pivotal to Josh's development when both of them were at Chelsea
I am hoping that Josh grabs this opportunity by the scruff of its neck just like Sturridge did
And those of you slagging off AVB for putting out a strong team, I dont think he did it because he is scared of pressure from the fans tbh, i think all the signs point to the fact that Roman has understood the need for stability and is willing to stick with AVB whatever happens this season
Hopefully he'll get a loan move, along with Bertrand and Hutchinson. It seems AVB can little afford to play either at the moment. Swansea will suit McEachran and if the move does happen hopefully he'll be as good for Swansea as Studge was for Bolton.
Regarding Bertrand and Hutchinson. I fear, as both of them are 22 (I think), that the boat may have sailed for them. However, I could be terribly wrong baring in mind Hutchinson's long lay-off and Bertrands lack of experience for Premier League clubs. If any of our youths are going to be loaned to another club it has to be a Premier club.
I really hope Josh does go to Swansea and does great. I am worried he wont make it at the club and I really want him to because its clear to see he is a talented young player who has loads and loads of potential to make it big in his career. Im praying he wont be Jody Morris V2.
I love Jody but most of his downfall was caused by himself.
I dont know too much about Jody other then that he was a player who possessed alot of potential but it just didnt work out and he left on a free to Leeds as I was only a little kid when he was playing for us. What did he actually do to cause his downfall I am curious?
Off the field problems really, mocking American tourists hours after 9/11 (whilst drunk), getting arrested for being involved in a drunken brawl and a sexual assault charge too. Before all of this he was a brilliant player but his off the field problems took over in his head.
I dont see Josh as the type of person to do the same off the field thankfully. Its a shame Jody was like that really my dad has told me a few times about how high the club and fans rated him and fully expected him to make big things in his career.
Frank Lampard has now scored 103 goals for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Kerry Dixon has the most with 104.
Juan Mata is now Chelsea's highest scoring Spaniard with 6 goals.
Ramires is now Chelsea's joint highest scoring Brazilian with 10 goals joint with Alex.
Talking of Jody Morris, having used the editor on a previous Football Manager, isn't he on the disliked list? Or am I completely wrong and hes on the liked list?
Three amazing players. Really do not understand why Lampard is behind Raul in our midfield. Highest scoring midfielder in Premier League history, and the second highest assists of any player. He's also currently the highest scoring midfielder in the league so far this season, and has scored more wining goals this season than anyone other than RVP. All hair Sir Frank.
Chelsea tell Frank Lampard he can leave club
Michael Essien to make return for Chelsea reserves | Mail Online
for once i hope the dailyfail is correct. Would be massive to get him even half fit and half back to what he can do, sensational footballer.
Chelsea tell Frank Lampard he can leave club
Now that's loyalty to a club legend for ya.
lol, a quote from the people of all places and one that's so ridiculously untrue that it doesn't even pretend to have an inside source. Pathetic.
More importantly telling Frank he can leave the club if he wants has nothing to do with loyalty, it has to do with him getting on. I suspect that what's happened is that AVB has told Lamps that he's not going to be starting every game anymore and if he wants to be an automatic first choice, he would be better off moving to a smaller league abroad. Surely it would be disloyal to tell him that he's not going to be starting every game but we're not going to let him go either.
