Really lucky that when we slipped up,all the teams fighting for 4th spot got defeated :)

But i'm still waiting and hoping for that winger to come in for this window :(

Im lucky enough to go to most home games, and its a confusing season i must say. AVB does have a future, BUT some of his tactics really do confuse me and the fans around me. Mikel was once behind Messi in the most promising U21 players, he was an attacking player but Mourinho ruined him in my opinion, he is now a slow CDM with awful vision and passing. Now onto the subject of Torres. We had one patch in which he scored goals, against Genk and West Ham. West Ham he looked on fire then he got sent off. Since then i personally have not seen him at his best, however against Sunderland he got MoM but didn't carry that over to Carrow Road. Missing an awful chance.

AVB does have a future, but needs to get his tactics finalized and sign a few key players.

His development has stalled, but he's still got a future IF he kicks on now at Dijon. He said in an interview with CTV when he had just gone on loan to Dijon that he hasn't had enough game time since playing in the Youth Cup, but now that he can get game time that he hopes he will regain confidence and develop as a player. But he said that AVB has a 'project' for him, so only time will tell I suppose.
 
2 hard games ahead, especially Swansea.


by they way, whats the situation with Lamps? Did he have MRI ?

Dont think AVB will buy him knowing there are better players on the market. Well yes, cuptied players, but still.


Actually, I can see him waiting till the summer, and then make moves for the players he wants. However, we desperately need new players, especially winger/PM.
 
Interesting progress on the Willian deal...

Shakhtar's CEO has publicly said that he will not oppose Willian's desire to move to the EPL even though he has no burning desire to sell him and he alsosaid that due to a supposed good relationship with Chelsea, he is all the more wiling to do business with us although he has warned that he wants a bid in the region of 25-30m to consider letting Willian go
 
I know nothing of him beyond the fact that he's just hit 8 goals, 15 assists for me at Napoli in FM. ^^

Why do shaktar have that big bunch of great Brazilian players btw?
 
SSN Transfer Thing reporting that Shakhtar's president has rejected a 20m euro bid for Willian, apparently from Chelsea. Whether there is anything there or not, after AVB said he would rather not sign players that are cup tied in competitions,

Yes, definitely from Chelsea. They put it on their website 2 days ago. We need to bid an extra 5M and then they will accept. Apparently everything is sorted with the player, so it's just awaiting an acceptable bid from us. Don't believe what AVB says; he lies all the time. We need a couple of players to qualify for next year's CL and if that means that they cannot play in this year's, then so be it - there's no point buying a player for the sake of it just because he's eligible for the CL.

And he's not in Shakhtar's squad today against Bunyodkor, but it's a friendly so that might be why.

Absolutely agreed. Our priority is to qualify for next CL edition, as for Willian's qualities, and whether he is good enough for a side like us, not sure. But one thing is for sure, he is better than Malouda/Kalou. So wouldnt mind him tbh.

He's good enough, but I still think we'll need another along with him THIS window, preferably Hazard who is possible if we bid the right amount. But yes, he's better than Kalou and Malouda.

AVB is just blatantly lying considering how open Shakhtar have been about our bid and hopefully we will increase our bid to 25m and get our man in, Shakhtar are keen to sell him and are not opposing any move at all plus their value of the player seems fair to me so hopefully this deal will be done and dusted by the end of the week

Not too sure about Eden Hazard, I doubt any deal is in the offing but come to think of it, this time last year none of us thought we would get Fernando Torres so their is a little shred of hope.. personally speaking its only us, Man City and Real Madrid who can cough up enough money to buy him but I doubt Man City really need to spend so much to get another player in

Its Mourinho vs AVB for Hazards signature me thinks

Oh for gods sake Blueheart stop making duplicate accounts. If you hadnt been using excessive language in the first place you would have got a 10 point infraction that lead to your ban. Stop trying to circumvent your current ban, as i will just extend it.

Haha, that's hilarious. I thought that 'JohnTerry26' might be him because all of a sudden he started posting loads, but only in this thread - no others. Didn't think that 'NN' was though but now you've pointed it out it is very obvious.

Even more hilarious because after he returned from his last ban he said:
