I dont understand why we don't give a pen to Torres, give him some confidence..

Probably true but surely a striker wants to score every given chance?

Suppose it differs with every player. Maybe some can deal with this sort of situation Torres is in better than others. He's showing the workrate-but without doubt you can tell he doesn't believe in himself at times. Quite sad to see him the shadow of his former self. But at least he is working hard though which is a plus.

Better second half, deserved win. Mata, Rami, Cahill, Luiz, Mikel(ha-ha back off haters), Ivanovic played well.

Cech - Commanding, not too much to do.
Brana, Luiz, Cahill and Bertrand - All very good and looked like a unit, i'd watch your back if i was you Cole.
Meireles and Mikel - Meireles very poor but did take his goal very well indeed. Mikel always good when the team is good.
Ramires, Mata and Kalou - A lot of movement from the 3 especially at the start of the 2nd half, impressed me alot.
Torres - Same old story, worked really hard but can't shoot or pass for toffee.

Good start Bobby D, roll on Stoke on Saturday.

Think you have been worse because we have made you look worse to be fair. Ramires has raped that N'Daw so much he dosen't know what year it is!!!
N'Daw is right footed and has never played LB in his life AFAIK so cant blame him. We were plagued by injury with no LBs, first choice CB out and Davies playing not fully fit. Missing a few first teamers due to unavailability too.

Overall I felt, we were the better side for 60mins of the game but the spell from HT-75mins when Chelsea played as well as I have seen them in a long time really killed us. If we had a full side I think we could have won that game but at least we can focus on the league now, that being our 47th game this season already.

Few things i noticed in this very very early time with this new set-up. Before the game the coach we bought in Eddie Newton having a laugh and a good chat with the subs kind of reminds me of the relationship Wilkins had with the players. Di Matteo i think deep down wants this job full time and i forgot what the feeling is like of having an ex player manage your team and its great. Also all the "big ego players on the bench" the was they celebrated the 2nd goal was very good too see. He got the tactics spot on for me playing Ramires wide right getting Mikel on the ball and even playing Kalou for all his flaws he actually runs at people.

Don't think we ever looked like we was going to concede, we looked pretty well set up at the back. You did have a lot of the ball but without really hurting us. Soon as we got Ramires and Kalou running it was only going to go one way.

I'm just wondering? I want to know what do people think of him...

He works very hard but i believe he will never be a top goalscorer for Chelsea.

Yes, we should play Studge-Mata(behind Torres)-Rami couple of games :D I think we should play this team against Stoke, but with Lampard instead.

I'd personly still go with Kalou, Sturridge has been very poor for over a month now and Kalou linked up with Mata quite well today. I'd agree with Lampard instead of Meireles though.
